  1. Oiled oak Klipsch Forte II, with risers, updated crossovers with Sonicaps, and upgraded titanium diaphragms (Crites). I am in central Florida.
  2. Due to current circumstances, I am selling my Sansui 9090 Receiver and Klipsch CF-3 Version 1. $2,000. The Sansui is in excellent condition and has been professionally serviced with full recap of power supply and driver board.Doc2.docxDoc1.docx
  3. I have one Forte II with Crites cap upgrade and titanium tweeter for sale for $250. But I am in Orlando, Florida.
  4. I have a pair of Klipsch Forte II's with upgraded crossovers (sonicaps), titanium tweeters, and even the 3 ounce washers on the passives. Water stain on top of one of the speakers. I am just north of Orlando. Will send more pictures if interested. $700.
  5. I think I fried mine while doing the Crites caps. Hoping that someone has one lying around. Thanks!
  6. Upgraded to Crites sonicaps except I did not replace the resisters. Then, the mid range did not work. Isolated the problem to be in the crossovers. Tweeters work, woofer works. Tested diaphragms in midrange and all - all works. Where should I look specifically in the crossover? Any particular caps that I need to look at? Do I need to replace the resisters? Thanks
  7. Entertaining trades? I am in Orlando. Thx.
  8. Looking to trade my vintage Yamaha NS-1000M speakers with original speaker grills and stands, and Yamaha MX-2 Power Amplifier. Looking for Klipsch heritage speakers or a high end tube amplifier. I am in Central Florida.
  9. Hi. I have a chance to buy a McIntosh 1700, which I want to play with my Cornwalls. Mostly listen to vinyl records through my Technics SL-1200. I understand the McIntosh is a hybrid - tuner is tube and preamp is SS. Would it be better to get a receiver where the preamp is tube - to get better sound I understand it would be better to get the tubes. Thanks.
  10. Thanks for all the help! With respect to the crossovers - since I don't have soldering skills...is it better to buy the new crossovers and possibly sell the old ones on ebay (is there a market for these?), or, buy the repair kit and pay someone to do the re-building here for me in Central Florida? Thanks.
  11. Hi. I am a new owner of a Cornwall I (1984). I have a Yamaha V667 preamp with the Cornwall, and it sounds great. I was wondering if this is a good enough preamp, or should I consider another SS one? Is there any particular negatives with a Yamaha that I should be aware of? I don't want to go to tubes at this point, so please hold those recommendations. Thanks.
