    Stacked subs?

The subs are staying, im not complaining. They used to be in opposing corners, so throwing the rear sub on top of the front sub didnt change the fact they were, and are in a corner still (reiterating cause i think someone overlooked that). Its not boomy stacked, it got boomy at opposing corners when the phase was switched. Sorry if my post was misunderstood.. Middle of right wall has a fireplace, and a cutout for some stupid reason next to the fire place thats pretty big and is inclosed at the top and sides so im not putting it in there as id assume it would be boomy as hell. Plus, wine fridge. Left wall middle is right next to couch and i dont want a sub that close to drink/food. 3000cu ft room that has hallway access on 1 end, and kitchen entry on the other side, no doors. Not my house so i cannot frame in a doorway. Again, no complaints... was just kinda sharing how surprised i was.

    Stacked subs?

I agree, i did have someone else turning phase knob on the back sub while i was listening (prior locations). I also told them to turn it in minor adjustments sometimes and to PRETEND to turn it other times and just tell me when they were done moving it that notch (or not). It was the only way i could figure on a blind test. . The only thing i noticed was it get boomy at some point and sounded terrible. In the end, it sounds good so.... here we sit i guess

    Stacked subs?

Now they are both up front corner

    Stacked subs?

Yes, and they were before. They were at a front corner and a rear corner.
  8. Recently stacked 2 pb2000 subs for fun. Holy crap! So much power compared to 1 sub up front and a sub behind seating area. Who else has tried this? Same outcome?
  9. Im sure my truck also will make a few more ponies since i fixed the dealerships screwup. They left a plug in the inlet of the heat exchanger. Thankfully i dont drive too hard, l live between sea level and 900ft, and on the central coast. Dealer replied "no way we could have done that".
  10. I do appreciate the reply btw
  11. Ive only heard 52s, 28s, and 7ii. So clearly not what op was asking for. Count me out.
  12. Open loop i believe turns off the compressor on most vehicles no?
  13. Seems like the story ive been hearing... and here i thought all these hdmi cables were so trick, it appears some have even smarter speaker cables.
  14. No depot nearby, should i switch to the aluminums at walmart? I know they have RCA brand, and RCA stands for Really Colorful Acoustics right?
  15. Lmao, dont worry i havent bought much of this convo at all... im glad someone here caught most of my sarcasm. Most of the argument i seen was just nanners sounding to me. Im keeping my lowes outdoor lighting 12awg wire and i will not Buywire
  16. Ok, so it makes it clearer sound then. Path of least resistance is the key, and in speakers i need to learn more i guess. Biamp i understand.... this biwire has me totally lost
  17. I think i see now... So throwing 4 wires on a 9v battery to a flashlight bulb will be brighter than 2 wires right?
  18. But the source where plugged in is feeding both wires..... then they seperate, and terminate at the speaker right? So how is anything any seperate than using the jumper? Maybe im totally unaware on how a speaker works, but.... they draw power like a river? I thought the amp/avr pushed a signal, not the speakers drawing. Turn volume to 20, and the source pushes accordingly right? Xover does the rest? So how does 4 wires per channel when tied into same source provide different power? I get the river idea, but.... i wasnt aware speakers draw. I thought they got pushed. Im sorry, maybe im missing something..... it sounds funny to me.
  19. I think i may have figured this all out and it being an inner ear issue of either an infection or water. Im still working things out slowly, watched Sully a few nights ago and shook the liv room....no issues from the ears. Ive been very careful up till that point and tried many things.
  20. Biwiring uses the same lugs on the source for 2 pairs of wire....so how is this splitting any kind of signal if the signal is never split from the source? Isnt this basically just reinventing the jumper? The path is exactly the same, full range from the source to the speakers crossover.
  21. Im not knocking them, i love em. They just are not for everyone. If this was "hey i have a set of rf42s and i want to upgrade, should i get rf82s or r28s", i would not bring up the horns at all.
  22. I dunno.......... Have you heard a set of em yet? Klipsch are a love em or hate em type deal with the horns.
