You guys got an ovation up there? We have one here and its pretty much hated. I mean they dont endorse klipsch at all and have horriable prices but thats here.. Hopefully you have better luck. BTW all good salesmen are laid back klipsch, bose,jbl,polk,(insert speaker name here) lovers.. hahah

This is not a bashing on Klipsch anyway. This is just an expression of opinion on how BestBuy does Great audio equipment. I was shopping the other day with a friend who wanted to check out some klipsch equipment for both his computers and his home ent. Being that its a modest budget Best Buy seemed to be the place to go. I attempted to show hm the computer speakers first. However all they had at Best Buy was the Klipsch 5.1 GMX and older 5.2 PM series. No 2.1's. So I went ahead and tried to show him the new speakers and the older 5.1 PMS but the merchandise was soo DAMAGED it was embarrassing. The sound was distorted and crackling, hissing speakers from both sets. The hook ups were rigged as if a 10 year old did it. So next I took him to the Home Ent and the speakers there were just as bad... A large amount distortion the control panel wasnt functioning correctly and KSW 12 sub wasnt even hooked up. The speakers couldnt compare to the JBL's there or even the Athenas because it was soo distorted. I dont know this is just my expirence with Best Buy as a reseller and Im sure its not like this every where in the US. Lately it seems its hard to find any Audio Specialist who really recommends Klipsch, and having them at Best Buy makes it even harder. Most thoughts I hear from Audio Specialists are there not really a bang for the buck but just a high price named for some decent audio. Heres wishing Klipsch some good luck in the future.

Exactly what the title says.. I m looking for some SF2' and would like to get a deal on some being that Im a college student with a addiction to nice sounding audio. On top of that I would rather purchase them from a memeber who knows their stuff and takes care of to insure that its top quality when i pay for it. Thanks

I heard this from some people and read the huge thread on it and I have to agree. This is the WORST idea that Klipsch has ever had. Reputation and Quality is everything and when you move these speakers to BestBuy you will lose both. Why? Because even nice speakers dont run themeseleves, Now tell me this? How many receievers at Best Buy are worth a dime? How many of the actual Best Buy employees actually know their advanced home audio. Most places they dont have audio/video specialist they just pull a guy from the computer department to sell them. Here at our local Best Buy you can buy Bose speakers, JBLS and of course Best Buys Favorite KLH. Ohh well there goes the great neighberhood.

hey guys, First off just say wassup, havent posted in a while.. Im sorry. haha I m running Pioneer VSX-D810S reciever (love Pioneer), Pioneer DVD player 343, 4 Quintets 1 KSC-C1 Center 1 KSW-12 Sub, all runnin monster wire. This setup is mainly for my Home Theater, movies etc etc. But I noticed my dvd player could play DVDs,CDs,CDR,CDRWs, so i put in a cd to listen to it and I was extremely dissapointed. First i got the notion that everyone was right about klipsch being slow. Then I thought cant be with everyone loving klipsch and my new found love for them. So I started thinkin I need a new CD PLAYER. Of course this has to be Pioneer to match my system (im weird like that sorry). Also I m thinkin I need some FRONTS really really bad. Cause my quintets arent doing it. So I m thinkin my next investment should be some RF 3's. Would do you guys think? About 23 days ago, I was shopping on ebay and I found some great deals. I purchased 8 brand new dvds for 100 bucks with shipping. So I was excited and happy. 10 days later no dvds' 20 days later I email the guy, Hey I havent recieved my dvds yet? Email account has been suspended and forwarded me to another email account. Web-based yahoo account. I think to myself "this isnt good". I email the guy 5 times. No response. Finally I find out his ebay account was suspedend and some other people have had the same issues. This seller actually had positive feedback as well. I paid thru BIDPAY with my debit card so I will try to get the benefits of internet fraud protection. Im still upset because my money is gone and this guy is laughing. Of course he gave me a false address and everything and Cant find him. Becareful with the Ebay. I fixed my subwoofer settings. I changed the crossover settings for my sub to 200hz rather than 100 it was defaulted too. My LFC was set to 110 and my level to 9. So I am hearing excellent sounds and I love my KSW-12. I dont have much experince in high-end audio but this is better than my friends best buy purhcased JBLs and my other friends BOSE system. Im running the below system. Thank guys for all of your help getting the subwoofer connected and going. I hooked the sub up and put my LFC to 120 and my LEVEL to 9. As suggested. Now someone suggested I go with the 75Hz frequency on my reciever. However it only has 3 levels to choose from. 100,150,200. Any suggestions? Im not really feeling the subs power right now. I actually feel more power from my friends cheap woofer. Any help with be appreciated. I just got my KSW-12 today and I need to know which settings would be ideal. For instance what LEVEL and what LOW PASS. I should have it on. Also I went to get subwoofer cable, Puchased the monster cable today *49 dollars. It only had one connection on each end, however the subwoofer has 2 inputs while the reciever only has 1. I was thinking there should 3 connectors. The monster cable says that I only need to hook it up to the left input. Let me know your opinion. Okay Okay we all know the cautions with buying on EBAY. But I love it EBAY but of course you do have to be careful. Its me the new guy. :-D I got my system a while back and I have enjoyed it very much. I love my Pioneer VSX-D810S. Good Reciever, I was just wondering if anyone else had one besides me and if they had any comments or compliaments. I wanted to get an Pioneer Elite Edition but hey I could pay 1400+ ya know? Well I am proud in saying instead of paying 499 for this reciever I paid 242 for it with shipping. The only catch was a small scratch on the side, okay not that small but it was touched up and you have to stare at it to see it. Hey, Im new to this scene of klipsch's for about 6 months now. I bought my Klipsch's off ebay though. Wait Wait!! Before you kill me please understand there is only one High End A/V retailer in my city and they are outrageous on prices and so on. They wanted a 560 dollars for Quintent micro system (ya know the 4 quintets and the small center) well I got on Ebay and bought brand new Quintets and a KSC-C1 all for 242 with shipping.. Bare in mind all brand new (well a month old I got the reciepts).. Well I all I need is a subwoofer. I want a KSW-12, but could be convinced in to the KSW-10.
