  1. Bad Co >>> Susanna 🤩😍
  2. Hi @JohnJ I saw them in France during the Faith tour in 1981 or 1982 : SUPER !!! Very Very Great Bass Sound on A Forest 🤩
  3. Pau Villarreal was elected Rock Drummer 2023 Drumeo Awards 😍 This year's 2023 nominees: Jon Theodore / QOTSA, Josh Freese / Foo Fighters, Greyson Nekrutman, Brittany Bowman. She succeeds Travis Barker (Blink-182) 😉
  4. A beautiful concert by Donald Byrd at the Olympia in 1958: I like the style of this reissue: the record as originally in 58: the Brunswick labels are magnificent = see my photos, the beautiful original photos of JP Leloir, the quality of the cover, the glossy front photo, the "50s" style back, the antistatic lined quality "SAM" sleeve... Music, I'm discovering at the moment: I like https://londonjazzcollector.wordpress.com/2013/04/13/new-donald-byrd-quintet-byrd-in-paris-1958-brunswick/ https://www.discogs.com/fr/release/22148350-Donald-Byrd-Byrd-In-Paris-Volume-1 😍
  5. Hey guys, I read your suggestions for Miles Davis albums: I'm going to look at these records online and I'll probably put some of them on my wish list: thanks https://www.milesdavis.com/music/releases/
  6. Hi, My Funny Valentine by Miles Davis, a Dutch CBS reissue from the mid-80s! https://www.discogs.com/fr/release/4698128-Miles-Davis-My-Funny-Valentine-Miles-Davis-In-Concert My Miles Davis collection is slowly growing, I'm missing three albums, "Four" & more, Big Fun and Water Babies >>> 🤩
  7. Hi @Dave1291 Yes I know and love all these bass players, Tal, Enstwistle, East and many others 😍
  8. Argentina 🤩 I'm a fan of Brenda Martin a bass player 😍
  9. Hi, Thank you @KT88 for the details on the bass adjustment centered at 30Hz Yes @Von Hoellert the McIntosh preamp and amp go down to 20Hz and even lower. This is the bass adjustment action which is centered at 30Hz Try a McIntosh preamp or integrated amp at home with your Cornwall IIIs and play around with the bass setting. You will enjoy your beautiful Cornwall III and finally appreciate beautiful deep bass and present
  10. For example, MA252 with bass adjustment would be perfect for your CWIII ! And what's more it has a beautiful retro look, just the way you like it
  11. Hi @Von Hoellert My advice: for nice bass with CWIII, use a McIntosh, Accuphase or other brand preamp or integrated amp with a 30Hz bass setting and you will be happy even at 75db 😉
  12. @dirtmudd I love this one

  17. Hi, @KROCK Me too Santa came early 🎅 For mine, I bought a Bouon Tokyo Ultimate THT-291 from Japan. It is made of Hanenite, a material that resembles rubber, but which does not have the same characteristics: it absorbs energy and does not rebound. Audiotechnica uses it in its high-end cartridges and its AT SUT 1000 transformer. It's less noble than your expensive and super Boston, but for the price of around $70 it's a good mat 😍 Watch from 1:00 how Hanenite absorbs energy: Hanenite ball does not bounce 😉
  18. Hello everyone ! I present to you my new turntable, I received it yesterday, it's a Technics SL-1210G (the one with the bronze brass platter). It's wonderful, I'm listening to Charlie Hunter Trio on it. @KROCK has the same (in Silver it seems to me) for its mono monitors https://www.discogs.com/fr/master/819466-Charlie-Hunter-Trio-Bing-Bing-Bing 🤩
  19. Hi, In 1988, I was in Sochaux, for the construction in the huge Peugeot factory of a new factory for the 405 car. I was doing earthworks to divert the river which passed through the middle of the industrial complex. I had an office in Etupes, a town near Sochaux and there were Peugeot Sport workshops: I see trucks with covered sports cars and sometimes 205 WRCs in the parking lot. A few months after the 1988 Pike Peak I saw Ari Vataneen's 405 at the Peugeot Museum in Sochaux which opened that year in 1988: it was huge with its black fins, there were also the 205 WRC and the 205 Paris -Dakar yellows https://laventure-association.com/laventure-peugeot/le-musee-de-laventure-peugeot/
  20. Hi @dirtmudd I would like the G with the brass, not the GR or GR2 😉 At the time it was made in Japan, but it is the same G as the one made today in Malaysia
  21. @KROCK Today the 1200 and 1210 all models: MK7, GR2 and G are now manufactured in a Panasonic group factory in Malaysia. It's less noble than the Made In Japan before, but for me it doesn't matter and I know that Malaysia has a very modern appearance and Panasonic has a lot of efficient factories like that. More than 30 ultra-modern factories around the world, it seems to me. Malaisia - Kuala-lumpur
  22. Yes ! thanks @KROCK, I saw the new GR2, but I think I prefer the big G, GAE hasn't been sold for a long time, you're lucky to have such a nice one 😜
