Well the reason why I asked because when I looked at the floor standing speakers page. In the little box it says about the R7III having new titanium 1 3/4 horn. Yet the older R7II says basicly the same thing just in a different way.

So I see the R7III are now on preorder for $1800 each. I was reading and couldn't really find a difference between the two. Can someone shed some light on this for me? I see the R7II are $1279 until December 5th. I keep saying I was going to buy a set of the R7II but once I heard the R7III were coming out I decided to wait to see if the wait was worth it. So is the R7III worth the extra $521 each? That is another thousand dollars when you buy the pair.

Is this still for sale? Also do you have any pictures of what the person is getting? What about shipping to 17201?

I'm like you and have been days or weeks away from buying a set and now I will save a little more and wait to summer when they come out. Wonder what the price will be?

Yes the 7's were on sale from crutchfield for $1099 each. The local store near me doesn't price match and doesn't seem to work with the little guy. So I drove just a little over an hour away. That dealer is also in Klipsch dealers online. Anyway they would price match so. I guess I missed them for $1099 because they are back to $1599

I was looking into buying the R7's but I just seen a pair of the 280FA and now I'm torn between the two. I will be buying the front two then slowly adding on the surrounds and subs in the next 6 months. That being said I'm trying to decide if I truely want the R7's or should I go with the newer design 280's with atmos? I have got to hear both but haven't had a chance to hear both side by side or at the same place. Maybe next month I will be able to do that. Seeig that both our around the same place right now. What do you guys like or dislike about each when comparing the two?
