  1. One of the few big Klipsch systems I haven't owned yet. If these where closer I'd work out a deal for my Kp600's or I have 4 mwm bass bins, ( the more desirable single cab bins )

    Good luck with sale!

@Md5150  Mike, have you posted pics of your setup here before? I would love to see some. Since I currently have some dual MWMs sitting upright in my music room (due to lack of space at the moment), I am always eager to see others MWM setups.

Not sure if I've posted any pics of the mwm/402 setup before. Basically I have them in a 21x22 room in the corners. When Mark was over I had my Parasound JC-1 Monoblocks on the bass bins. Mc452 on the 402/Faitals, A21 on the tuba subs. If I get time over the weekend I'll post a pic.

I just want to say that I'm the guy who sold him the THT LP's and the K-402's, but he chose the Faital Pro driver wisely. I'm glad it sound as good as you say. Hey Mike did you ever sell that expensive amplifier we talked about you selling?

Claude, nope I still have the amp. I should have sold it last year when I had the chance. I relisted it for sale about a month ago.

To all the people saying the Klipsch pro speakers are better, how about explaining this to me:

Why is a Cornwall III significantly bigger and heavier than a KI-396 if the KI-396 sounds better? Is Klipsch making the Cornwall bigger and heavier just for fun while purposely neutering it? To me that makes no sense at all. Some people claim the Forte III sounds better than the Cornwall but when I demoed them both, the Cornwall sounded a lot fuller due to its larger size, so why wouldn't it be the same when comparing a Cornwall to a KI-396?

The mid range horn and drivers on the KI-396 are far superior to the Cornwalls. The weight difference is because the Cornwall cabinet is bigger. You want to pay 3x as much for a pretty wrapper then that's your choice but you're trading in sound quality for a better finish.

I find it funny you think pro speakers have higher distortion than speakers made specifically for the home. Cornwalls will distort and sound like they are struggling way before speakers like KP600'S, Jubilee's, and other pro speakers. The KP600's that someone linked to you to consider buying are the best speakers for rap music I've ever heard and destroy Cornwalls so badly they shouldn't even be compaired.

Someone is going to get a great deal on these. You do understand about seller's remorse don't you ?

    Good luck,

Hah yes I do! I sold my 1997 Dodge Viper GTS and wonder what I was thinking every summer. I'm sure I will regret selling them at some point, probably when the price on Jubes goes the way of what new Lascala's cost these days.

HA! .... you're as nuts as some of these other guys!! :emotion-21:

Did you ever put the 402's on top of a single or double bass bin??

Ya that's what I normally run. I've had all 8 bins hooked up with Crown itech amps and 4 k402's with my tuba subs, it was absurd even for me, i thought my heart was literally going to stop or go into irregular beat.

hmmm....  I think I notice some KP 600's in your profile pic?

Nuts indeed!  (in a very good way)

    Ya I went alittle crazy. 8 mwm's, KP600's, Jubilee's,  4x402 horns, 2 Tuba THT's... I need some space back!

  8. *Update*

I've got alot of people asking if they come with a crossover. They don't. They come just as Klipsch sells them, without a crossover. So whoever buys them has to do what everyone else who has bought 2 ways jubes had to do, buy a crossover. Also if buyer wants to arrange shipping that's fine, but I'm not shipping them myself. I've been on the other side many times and never had a problem. I've had kp600 stacks, 8 mwm bins, tuba subs, k402 horns all shipped to me from across the country. I will do what I can to help with shipping but it's ultimately up to the buyer. I would say anyone within 10 hours of me can easily pick these up themselves, they are not that big and the 402 horns come right off.

Excellent pair of Klipsch Jubilee's for sale. I bought these new in 2017. They come with K691 drivers and 402 horns. They are in perfect working condition and sound amazing. Serious inquiries only.

    Location Maine.

    Price $5,300.

  9. Mint condition, one owner Mcintosh Mc452 Quad balanced amplifier 450wpc.  This amp went from new in box onto my rack and hasn't moved except to clean dust. The amp is built like a tank at around 110lbs. It is dead quiet and it sounds as smooth as silk. This is an amp that will last a lifetime and can could be passed down to grandchildren. One of the best 2 channel amplifiers Mcintosh has ever made. I have all the original boxes.

Message me for more / better pics. My pics don't do this amp justice.

  10. Price lowered to $2,000.

Hate to do it but i need to make some room so these have to go. I bought these last year here on the forums from a respected member. They are a complete working pair in very good condition and sound incredible. I've replaced almost every nut, bolt, and washer with new stainless steel hardware.

The bottom sections are KP-682's wich are better than what the 600's originally came with. These where part of Ram Sounds huge system and they come with the custom covers. The grills are in good shape and have the Klipsch logos on them. They will come with Connon cables that are in excellent condition. I will also throw in a Ashley crossover and the audio rack i bought separately for free. The audio rack is needed to use the Connon cables but they could be changed over easily to binding posts. Fully functioning pairs in this condition rarely come up for sale. You won't find a system that comes close to this one for the price.

I can only load one pic at a time so I'll add a few more later.

    Location: Maine.

    Price $2,000.

    Thanks for looking,

    Mike.

  11. I owned 2 pairs of Cornscala B and loved them, for 2k a pair I haven't seen a better value anywhere. Drop in some k48 woofers and they are even better.

I wouldn't worry to much about resale. I sold both pairs of my Cornscala's for a few hundred less than what I paid. I regret selling them even though I have Jubilee's, kp600's and mwm's. The Cornscala's just sounded fantastic with all of my music.
