  1. Thanks for posting that. I'll read up on those tonight.
  2. This is definitely an option. Can you PM me any plans that you have on hand? I might take a crack at trying to build them myself if I can't find any singles by summer. Thanks, Mike
  3. Those where double bins ( to big for my doorways )
  4. I'm in Maine. I got 4 of HPS split bins off Tim already, i asked if he had anymore but he said they where all gone. I used Uship to get them here from St Louis with no issues. Mike.
  5. I'm Looking for 2-4 mwm single bins, preferably with k43 woofers. HPS singles are ok too. Thanks, Mike.
  6. Selling my Mcintosh Mc452. I am the original owner. It is about 1.5 years old. It went from new in box into my audio rack and hasn't moved. Conservatively rated at 450wpc. Incredible sound. Like new condition. I have all the original packaging. I do not want to ship it. Location: Maine. Price: 5,000 Firm. Thanks, Mike.
  7. I like the bass of the Chorus 1 and the midrange of the Chorus 2. personally i would take either over any version of Cornwalls. The k48 woofers in the Chorus are hard to beat and they can handle rediculous amounts of power for extended periods of time.
  8. I've been using the 8 ohm taps on the 402 horn with mc452 amp. Sounds great to me. The compression drivers are 16 ohm, why would anyone use the 4 or 2 ohm tap for this application?
  9. Shoot me a pm if you have any questions about the speakers. After getting a bunch of emails from from what appears to be scammers or bots on Craigslist I haven't bothered to reply to a few emails.
  10. Actually they where $2,380ish delivered. These are B series with newer CT120 with risers, frames and fabric. Given all the time I have in these i would say they are a good deal. These are better than new ones in terms of sound quality, build quality, and reliability. These have much Better bracing then new ones, i added a tweeter brace that new ones do not have so the tweeter doesn't bounce all over the place breaking wires and ruining imaging like new ones will. I replaced the cheap copper clad and crimped terminals with bigger pure Copper wires and soldered the terminals, installed better gaskets, and 4 coats of clear inside and out of the cabinets. I have two pairs of these and both pairs had the same issues when new that these will never have. Though it may sound like simple and small upgrades the difference in sound over stock ones wasn't small. If someone where to buy both pairs and stack them like I did they would be damn close to what a pair if Jubilee's will do, for less than half the price, i know because I have compaired them over the past year.
  11. I did some experimenting with my jubes when I first got them. I removed the jumper from the bass bins and ran them parallel instead of series with the jumper. I only did this for one day when I was still dialing them in, I do remember bass seemed to hit harder with out the jumper in place. I've been meaning to try this again but never got around to it. Maybe someone who knows more than me could explain if there is any benifit to it.
  12. To each there own. I personally wouldn't buy a pre amp that doesn't have tone controls.
  13. I boxed it up. Looks just like that one.
  14. Selling my Dx38 I bought off a forum member. Its in very good condition and has jubilee settings already installed. $300 + shipping. Location: Maine.
  15. I've used these setting with k691's and Faital pro hf20at drivers and they sound great with both of these.

    Chorus 1

Chorus 1 for sale. Cabinets have been repainted by previous owner, they look ok but could look better with alittle sanding and another coat of paint. Grills are in good shape and all drivers work. They have Crites Titanium tweeters. Location: Maine. $500.
  17. Yes, since I'm not going to ship them I'm only looking for a local sale.
  18. That was my add. My profile has one of the pics from the add. New add will be going up later tonight. With more pics. Btw, stacking them is better than any other arrangement.
