  1. Well, This thread died but st the end I bought new crossovers from Crites, but I was never really happy with my pair of LaScala. I sold them a few months ago and got a fairly good price so I was happy. But my search continued and I was looking for horn speakers and it had to ble Klipsch, so suddenly I talked to a gut who had a big warehouse and he told me that he had several klipsch systems after a cinema thats been closed. So I got a pair of 535 from him. They sre in s really nice condition and sounds awesome!!! I wanted it simple so I ordered a three way passive crossover from klipsch instead of using a active crossover. And I really really love them!!!
  2. AA I saw that now:-) Sjur
  3. The schematic in this post, is that for a A or AA...? Stupid question maybe...
  4. A friend of mine who is very capable with crossovers is coming this week and will take a look. I sendt him the schematic and he thinks its pretty simple to get it fixed. Will update you guys later:-) Sjur
  5. Thank you for a good answer. I think I am going to strip down the crossovers completely and like you suggest, have someone to help me look at them. But I dont think that the price for Crites-crossovers where that bad... and pehaps it will make me a little less paranoid to change them with new ones:-) I think the bsst way to decribe the sound is like when I turn up the volume they sound like they are standing inside a huge cardbox... on low volume its quite okey, but I can not turn opp the volume and its not really loud until they sound bad... but I dont really know what the reason is. During next week I will try to remake the crossovers one last time before I decide to buy new ones. I think I will losen all the wires and start from scratch maybe with a little help from you guys...? I read in a post that you are talking about diodes... can you explain what they are...? Best regards Sjur
  6. Hmmm, thats is probably a good plan. :-) Its bedtime for me now, but I will start the rewire-job tomorrow. Thanks again for the help! I am very glad for this!
  7. Could not sleep... hehe, so I opend up the bottom and to my surprise I found this...
  8. Hi guys. Its been a busy day and I am really tired, so no LaScala work today... I feel that perhaps its easyer to buy a brand new crossover from Crites or someone else...? Any suggestions? Best regards Sjur
  9. I will try that tomorrow. My girlfriend is five minutes away, so I will be busy for the rest of the night ;-) Thanks for the help once again. I will try to reconnect and send some more pictrures tomorrow. Sjur
