I have 2 kg4's with titanium tweets it appears. I have become a klipsch believer these last 2 months, already scored a pair of forte ii that were destroyed by ups before i could hear them..and have taken it as a sign from the gods that my ears and love for bass, need to keep me with what i have for now...which i have a hunch might be bob crites upgrades...unless all the tweets in these look silver when you stare inside from the front of the horn...anyways....klipsch=yes. And probably a lifetime of upgrades...side moves and additions...congrats. im getting a certification in accounting so that i can increase my income and budgeting skills so that i can further my obsession.

So do you run your music sources through the preamp first which then goes through the aux-in rca jacks in back, and thus through your entire system?

So that was an interesting storyline but the character development of this "pappy van winkle" character was weak. I feel we the reader didn't really get to know him or who he was. Nonetheless a good read. I give it three stars.[emoji294][emoji294][emoji294]

What kind of amp?
Sent from my Z959 using Tapatalk -
Kg4. Also have a pair of sansui sp-3000 laying around

Thanks. Yep...just curious and was wondering what improvements i can make on what is already a beautiful sounding receiver. I've heard more watts can really bring out the quality at lower volumes also. Maybe setting it up as separates would be fun...especially if i found the same era marantz amp...

I have an old marantz 2285b and want to know if anybody with a similar receiver has ever used the pre outs and powered the preamp with a higher wattage amp. If so, to what benefit? What setup would you recommend i use to power my 2285b if i did do that? Would using a tube poweramp change the sound much vs a ss poweramp considering the preamp is ss? Klispsch kg4, sansui sp-3000 are my speaker options..... Thoughts? Ideas? Thanks!

Ya, I fell in love with the sound! I keep telling myself I'll be satisfied after I get the next pair up but then in the back of my mind I'm always thinking, well if those sound this good I can't imagine how good these will sound. In the back of my mind throughout every purchase I made I knew my end goal was the Klipschorns. I remember when I was younger and bought my first pair of Klipsch speakers (the Pro media 2.1 computer speakers) And just for the hell of it decided to check out their website and look at their speakers, I stumbled across the Klipschorns and knew they were the coolest speaker's I had ever seen and that was before ever even hearing a Heritage speaker.
Im Brand new to Klipsch too. A Friend had heresies that i heard a few months ago. Then i Found some kg4s...loved them!.. Now i am already eagerly awaiting a pair of forte ii with crites to arrive monday that i found with the help of the amazing enablers in this fine group.... Once your "Hear"...you start thinking wow, if these are this good i gotta hear the next in line above mine....and soon you are out of savings money and happy as hell...hope you get them soon man. I can only imagine. Ive been looking for forte iis in walnut with bob crites obsessively for the last month...finally they are within my reach!!...tracking order even says so! Lol. I can only imagine the sleep you are not getting. I think i would be developing a facial twitch for sure by now. I kind of want to call them for you. But buying new from factory is likely a different animal. Like getting a new tesla from a car lot vs the tesla factory....you will be rewarded eventually. Good things come...

Im going to remove one of the woofers on one of my kg4's, put enough money in the cabinet for the fortes...replace the woofer...and wait.....lol

How would this integrate into my system. I was wondering if tubes could be placed somewhere along the line possibly between my dac and my receiver....is this what that is for?

Hi guys, and thanks to Weber for pointing me towards this post. I see I haven't been on this forum since 2011-sorry for my absence! I am the owner of the speakers in question. I am located near the SW corner of the 610 loop, just south of Bellaire.
I am a long time Klipsch fan and am only letting go of these speakers because I no longer have room for 2 stereo systems and I hate the thought of these living in my closet unused.
Please feel free to contact me with any questions. I can try to pull them out for pictures if there is anyone with serious interest. These are living room ready with only minor imperfections.
Thanks!
My goodness i want your speakers sir. Please contact me. Anthony.shawn.nicholson@gmail.com i want to pay for shipping to denver. Asap! Been looking for these for too long. Lol
