Hi all, I'm new to the board, but I thought I'd post a little something. I've had my ProMedias for a bit over 2 years now. After PC Gamer's glowing review, who could not buy them? Anyway, I just recently invested the $50 into the CP-1 pod, and WOW! NO STATIC when moving the nob! NO HISSING even when volume levels are higher than normal! I always just figured those were things I'd have to put up with to get this unmatched sound, but not anymore! For those techie people out there, anyone have a good explanation as to what the new pod does or what exactly was wrong with the old one? Even aside from the hissing/static things, the sound just seems richer with the new pod. Just curious about that. Talk to you all later! daroga
