  1. Thanks for the info. Sold out right now but when it becomes available I'm in......
  2. Nope you're aren't the only one. I think I complained about this in another thread. It's awesome right? It's 4am on a Saturday morning and I get up for my weekly long run, turn on the control unit and boom, max volume, Wakes the whole house up. It does it at other times as well but those are the ones the wife just loves. I did have it to were my Tv and cable box would come on with the control unit but to prevent this from happening I stopped that and now I power on the control unit and after I see it isn't at max volume I then turn on my source. Two years since the last update but I doubt this would fix it. This system is a lemon. Not our units but all of the units. Klipsch promised lifetime updates, "future proof" and even hardware changes if needed. The haven't delivered on any of their promises and won't respond with a solution. I think they are waiting for the HD Wireless to quietly go away.
  3. I won't add the latest problem to my existing post. I'll just do it here. The latest bug is when I power on the control unit it comes on @ max volume. It has done it several times lately. So now when I hit the power button on the remote I have to stand there at the control box and hit the manual off botton. There is a split second were I can see the lights maxed out that I can power off.. I'm a runner and this is awesome when I get up on Saturday morning at 0400 before my long run and have my system blast at max volume with the rest of the house sleeping. The wife just loves being woken out of deep sleep with sportscenter @ max volume. What a piece of junk. Oh ya #Klipsch. Still waiting on the "Lifetime Support" "Lifetime software updates", "Lifetime hardware if needed"...............
  4. Mine is pretty much worthless at this point. Extremely buggy. Gonna take my $4k loss and go back to wired but you can bet it wont be Klipsch......
  5. Same issue. I have commented on several post about this. Every day I have to go thru the add a speaker feature in the menu to get all speakers to work. Also like you sometimes one of my speakers won't turn off and then when I turn everything on that speaker won't work. I'm actually kind of glad your solution of switching to 2.4ghz didn't work. I use 5.0 for everything. So much faster. As far as Klipsch telling you it's not on their end it's WISA. WISA isn't the one that promised lifetime support either using software or even hardware updates. Klipsch did. It's been nothing but trouble for everyone that purchased this system. I might add purchased it anywhere from $3,500-$5,000. Future-proof is what they called it. A strait out lie from Klipsch.
  6. Hmm. This might take awhile, lol. *Hub and speakers power on and then goes off immediately every time. After I hit power again it comes on and stays on. *Won't power on using Logitech Universal remote or DirectV Remote. * There's always on speaker dropped at every use. Not always the same speaker but always one. * After getting hub powered on it works and I have sound but LED lights go away on the hub. * This probablyly goes under future upgrades you have already mentioned but there is only 1 4K HDMI and it's not compatible with my Apple TV, Amazon or directv UHD 4K. I get 4K but not HDR, just SDR. My two year old Denon had this capability. It's not that new tech. I kept getting the message on my Apple Tv that I didn't have good enough cables. I knew better. I have the best you can get. Big time overkill. Figured out it wasn't the cables it's the Klipsch hub between my Apple/Amazon/Directv and my TV. Need more 4K HDMI's and make them true UHD. * Sometimes when it powers on it does at max volume. Usually at 0400 in the morning giving the whole house a heart attach. * Every couple of weeks I have to go through the finds speakers in the menu to both pick up the dropped speakers and 2-to correct them being identified in the wrong location. There's so much more but........
  7. I agree 100% with what bsAudio is saying here. I won't go into the problems I've had. You can see in 3 different threads here. Klipsch is still Klipsch. Great sounding speakers is what they are known for but it looks like they should have stayed out of the wireless game. At least come out and tell us you bought a lemon and we won't be coming out with a solution so we can move one. The lack of communication is the worst part. Bush league customer service from a company that depends on loyal customers.
  8. Still nothing. Looks like I'm stuck with a $4K lemon. It won't be replaced with Klipsch I promise you that.
  9. Crickets, crickets. If they debut a new HD Wireless system that isn't compatible with the current one that is only 2 years old without addressing these issues that will be so uncool. I'm an Arkansas guy. We can't get any response from Klipsch, fine. I'm thinking a road trip to Hope is in order for a little face to face time. Sorry that sounded bad. Didn't mean it that way. What I meant was if nobody at Klipsch wants to respond to the HD Wireless issues I'm close enough to corporate I'll make the drive and have them tell me in person that you bought a $4K system that is pretty much worthless and we won't be making it right.
  10. I agree Daven. I think they have given up on HD Wireless. Trying too get help or solve problems is just crickets. I did fix my dropping issue by moving my control unit away from my router but having so many more issues with the control unit itself. Love love love Klipsch and these sound awesome but it's to were you just can't turn on directv or a movie, bluetooth or whatever and enjoy. When it does work it sound great. I've had mine almost two years. A few things I wish I had done different. A. Went wired Klipsch when I finally retired my Infinity Interludes. I have a 7.2, 4K Denon receiver but thought hey, Klipsch sound and no big receiver, sounds great. I guess expecting to get the same thing from a small control unit that you get from a high end receiver was unrealistic. B. I wish that I had went RSB 14 sound bar and paired it with 5 or 6 RW-1's or RW-3's around the house. The HD Wireless is not a whole home system. You can add up to 7 speakers but it doesn't go through wifi, it's a signal from the unit so putting speakers on the back deck, bathroom, kitchen, etc... won't work. C. I wish there was a way to use the speakers with my Denon receiver and ditch the crappy control unit. So. Here we are. I'd like to sell mine locally at a big loss $$ but whoever I sell to would no doubt be calling, "Hey man, this sounds great but it doesn't work half the time". I guess I'll either go back to wired or go with the soundbar/wireless speakers around the house. The problem there is you can put RW-1's behind you in your living room to go with the bar and sub and you will get sound behind you but it is not true surround sound. It's stereo at best. No Dolby, no DTS so I'm prob not going that way either. It's back to wired and my Denon receiver. I guess this $3-4K system will go to the garage for tunes out there. Instead of a $100 bluetooth speaker in my garage I'll have $3k Klipsch system just to steam Pandora. Nice!! My fault for not waiting until I could make sure this was going to work but my thinking was it's Klipsch. It's got to be awesome... And then there was the promise of lifetime software and even hardware replacement if it was ever needed for updates. That hasn't happened and at this point I'm with you. It never will.
  11. I'll bump again. Klipsch are you listening? I've got the feeling we all have an obsolete system already. No firmware updates to solve issues and hardware was also promised if necessary when it came out. Forget free that they promised I'd buy a better control unit if they had one. Heck I wish there was a way to use just the speakers and sub with my Denon receiver. Sounds awesome, music, movies, etc... but so many issues.
  12. I'm having the same issue. I got the new 4K AppleTV. In the Apple settings I was trying to set it to 4K HDR and it kept telling me I had incorrect cables. I knew this wasn't the case. So like you I ran directly from the Apple box to my TV and it pop up automatically "Would you like to set your format to 4K Dolby Vision". My Vizio has that capability and of course the Apple Tv does. That's great. Even better than the 4k HDR I was wanting but.... That's only directly from Apple to the Tv. Like you once I go through the Klipch hub I loose that. Nothing HDR. It will do 4K SDR. It was bad enough that the Klipch hub doesn't have 4K capabilities to all 4 HDMI. I had to pick which 4K I wanted. I have Directv, Apple Tv, Amazon Fire and all have 4K programming but the Klipsch hub only has 1 HDMI for 4K. I choose the Apple Tv for that because I access Youtube there as well as movies. Come on Klipsch. If a software update won't fix this lets get busy with new hardware. You are way behind. The industry is providing content that can't be used with your equipment. I would hook my 4K Denon receiver back up but these sweet speakers won't work with anything other than the Hub. I know, I know. I should have stayed wired and I wouldn't be having this problem. The speakers sound amazing but as a stand alone receiver it is severally lacking. On related not a have a Klipsch Wireless HD system I would sell at a greatly reduced price :-) Pretty much worthless unless you only listen to music.
  13. Same question here. They have 2.2 4k HDMI switches. I believe it's Rocketfish at Best Buy but then it's another component and another remote. Would have to switch components via the HDMI switch and not the Klipsch HD Control. Not ideal for me. My Apple TV, Amazon Fire and Directv all have 4K programing plus I play UHD movies thru my Playstation. That's 4 UHD devices and only one HDMI port. I feel your pain. Maybe that will be one of the "Free Hardware Upgrades" in the future Klipsch promises. Holds breath and waits.
  14. Let me add to my post from April. I moved my router away from the Hd Control unit and have had zero drops for the last 2 months. I haven't had to touch anything. The only gripe I have is the 1 HDMI for 4K. Not a whole lot of programming right now I know but I do have my Apple TV, Amazon Fire and Direct Tv going thru my control unit and had to pick one to be 4K. Would like for all three to be.
