  1. Sorry to hear that. I tried talking to him over the phone about purchasing his Extreme Slope Crossovers for my LaScalas a couple months ago. Lets just say when I think back to the conversation I remember it being less than pleasant.
  2. Ok! Thought I'd put it out there ! Hope all is well! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  3. I have two that are going to get replaced once I get them in my hands I can get you one or both. It will be about a month though :/ Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  4. Second sheet came in. Outside walls of the doghouse are from the other sheet. I think it turned out ok!
  5. Brett from https://www.facebook.com/2ndTimeAroundRestorations/ He is a great guy located out in Pittsburgh. Makes it easy enough for me to get back and forth once the time comes to that. Edit: He is a user on the Klipsch Forums, not very active though. We are only going to the cutout with veneer have to hide it somehow! I guess ill be waiting till I see them in person on how they look. I do know my fiance wants top grills at the least. Time will tell and ill keep everyone updated.
  6. Well now that we are friends do you think he'll give us the friends and family discount?
  7. Ugh so we ran out of veneer doing the dog house.... One inside wall is short by 2 inches while doing a vertical run . So I had to order more while he started on the other speaker. Here is the newest veneer from the factory. Hoping it works out and matches up well. If not I think I might just have him do both outside walls for the doghouse in this. Make it even on both sides. Still haven't decided on what fabric I'm gonna use for the grill cloth either. At least I got my tweeters ordered and new glass for my McIntosh P.S. if anyone doesn't know it already @MookieStl and @Matthews are some great people and I owe them both a case of beer!
  8. Ah. I guess I should read more thoroughly. Thanks!

  10. No affiliation. Looks like they are selling replacement grills that are completed with Black Cloth. Just thought Id post this here for others to see. Sorry if this is a repost. http://www.ebay.com/itm/Klipsch-Replacement-grills/222469240781?_trksid=p2047675.c100005.m1851&_trkparms=aid%3D222007%26algo%3DSIC.MBE%26ao%3D2%26asc%3D40130%26meid%3D263bc51c59f34e51ae7656604e6d8c85%26pid%3D100005%26rk%3D3%26rkt%3D6%26sd%3D222470144814
  11. Yeah my 20x12 room wouldn't fit that. Id end up being 5-6ft from my 100inch screen! Plus I don't think my apartment neighbors would appreciate it at all. It's something I aspire to though! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  12. The guy is starting the doghouse ! Can't tell everyone how excited I am to go see these in person. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  13. Update! Just wiped down in Mineral Spirits. Supposedly it represents what its gonna look like when they are finished.
  14. Yeah I guess that's what I get for talking to grandma and grandpa while it was ending Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  15. Yeah I saw that, and its missing the bezel. From the research I have done its pretty hard to find and replace. There was one I was watching on eBay earlier this week and got outbit at 6 seconds left... Had the phone in my had opened in the application and still couldn't get one more bid in.
  16. In a perfect world I would like an MC 2205 but I am open to anything really. I have a C34v as a preamp and I would like to keep it matching.
  17. Hello everyone! Looking to buy a McIntosh Amp. Preferably Solid State. Budget around $2000 but will consider more if its just irresistible! Been hunting on eBay recently and cant find anything to my liking. Hope everyone is doing well! Thanks, Graham
  18. Hey man. Glad to hear it worked out for you! As others have mentioned to each his own! If it works for you thats all that matters! Enjoy!
  19. Schu what would you say a good noise floor in a tube amp would be?
  20. Thats interesting how changing the input on the TV end made a difference in clarity... How old is the TV? Is it all HDMI?
  21. Optical will not let you push pure HD signal through and will degrade after just a few feet if I remember correctly. It all depends on your source and receiver and how strong the laser is. DVI is the same digital video signal and the receiver cant tell the difference. If you computer has HDMI out I would use that as that will bundle your audio and video together if you get your settings correct on the card.
