I would also opt for a Mini DSP 2x4 HD. Integrating 4 subs while using a Mini DSP has a steep learning curve. There are lots of YouTube videos on the subject. I would use the videos of home theater guru or home theater gamer.
You would also need a to buy Umik 1 and install REW software. REW is free and gives you the tools to measure the subs and asbest them individually both also create a house curve.

My first suggestion would be to get a sub. This allows you to use a crossover on your fronts and redirect the low frequency’s to your sub.
This results in more headroom for your amp and thus more power for your speakers.

Added extra height speakers and configured them as top middle Atmos speakers. After adding those extra channels and the Panasonic ub9000 I’m finally finished!
The top middle Atmos speakers fill the gap between the front and rear height channels. Although not 100% according to the spec this sounds terrific.

I cross my entire setup at 100hz. The overall balance just sounds better in my setup.
Running dual Klipsch R115 and RF82MK2 mains. The subs are controlled using a mini dsp 2x4hd.

I remember following this build at the start of the project. Lost it track of it since then but I sure have to take of my hat. What a beautiful looking room. It’s all in the details! It just breaths theater on those images[emoji2]!
One question though as I haven’t come across the spec list, which projector are you planning to install?

That is a spectacular room....very nice.
Thank you!
I added some extra panels to further improve the sound and get rid of the white spot in the ceiling where my former projectors where mounted.
Those are some crappy iPhone shots but give an idea of the new look of the room. Very happy with the improved sound quality.

Nice setup! Good choice to go for the larger center. Enjoy your purchases!

The X4500 will power the RP8000f without a doubt. And when you eventually make the move to 7.1 and later on the Atmos speakers, my advice would be to buy a poweramp and power either the LCR or the entire base layer (7). Both will work just fine.
Another option would be to look for a 6500 which has 11 channels of build in amplification, then there is no need to buy a separate power amp. Off course, the initial purchase costs are higher. Just factor the price of a dedicated power amp in and see if a x6500 would fit the bill.
I would also try to listen to a 7.1.4 setup with wide dispersion side speaker, such as the RP502s, instead of an extra set of RP5000 speakers. I have two rows of seats, the front row is aligned with the side surround. Depending on where the main listening position is, those RP502S might sound much better.

I have used a Marantz SR7011, which is pretty similar to the 4500 to power a 5.2.4 system for years. Never felt like it was lacking or something.
It used to power this system:
RF25 fronts
RC35 center
RB61 rears
RB51x4 heights
R115SW dual subs
With the R115 taking care of the bass the Marantz had enough headroom to play loud.
I did always wonder if a poweramp could improve the sound quality. Because I wanted to use side surround and move to 7.2.4 I bought a Denon X8500, changed the LCR and added the sides and don’t feel to need to add a poweramp.
If you want to go beyond 9 channels you need an additional poweramp to power the extra channels.

Hi. I would never opt for the upward firing Atmos speakers but would rather try to either use front height and rear height speakers or fit Atmos speakers directly overhead. In a living room the front/rear height route is doable.
As for your mains, I would personally go with de RP6000F, add a RP504C as a center channel and RP600 as rears and would love to also use the RP600 as heights. Main reason would be to match the woofers throughout your entire setup.
This could be something you work towards. Been using front and rear height Atmos channels myself for four years and really like the way they look. Both Dolby Atmos and DTS: X sound great. I’m using an older Klipsch series and love the way they sound.

Took some better pictures after installing the new receiver. I bought a Denon AVC-X8500h to power a 7.2.4 setup.
Now thinking of adding two extra height channels above the side surrounds. Maybe a nice upgrade. Definitely adding some extra acoustic panels to further dampen the room and improve the sound.
The denon is a big step up from the Marantz! More dynamic and more power reserve. Also quite happy with the 2 channel performance. Although I do not use this room for music that often, also have a stereo setup in the living room, but not with Klipsch[emoji13].

Not the best pictures, will post again when the rest is installed properly. Picked up second hand fronts, center and side surrounds. Upgraded from RF25 to RF82MK2 and RC35 to RC62. Added RS62 to my setup.
The RF82MK2 are a nice upgrade over the RF25.
Now need to upgrade the receiver to power all the channels. Considering the Denon AVC-X8500H.
Current setup:
Marantz SR7011
RF82MK2 fronts
RC62 Center
RS62 sides (to be installed)
RB61 surround back
RB51 front and rear height
Dual R115SW
120” 21:9 Adeo Screen
JVC NX5

Hi there. I live in the Netherlands. Been using Klipsch for a long time now. My first pair of proper speakers were Klipsch RF25 which I still use today. Love seeing setups of others so wanted to show mine.
I have a 9.2 / 5.2.4 Klipsch setup that features:
Klipsch RF25 fronts
Klipsch RC35 center
Klipsch RB61 rears
Klipsch RB51 front height
Klipsch RB51 rear height
Klipsch R115 dual subwoofer setup
Receiver is a Marantz SR7011, BD5007 for Blu Rays.
This is in a dedicated home theater room two seating rows. The back row is elevated. No proper photos of the back. Still have to carpet the elevation.

Little upgrade. The Klipsch setup is still there. Really enjoying the their sound.
Added a different projector and screen to my setup. Now using a JVC N5 and an Adeo 21:9 120” screen. Huge upgrade!
Also went from 4 to 5 seats.

Good to hear the RF7 make you happy. I’m considering the RF7 iii myself.
If you go down the MINI DSP route, I strongly advice to get the HD variant. This gives you the opportunity to create a steeper curve at your low frequency cutoff point.
I use two R115SW in my room and have a low frequency and 20hz as cut off point because they are designed to output as low as 18 hz. Trying to let them output below 18hz only generates port noise.
