I have a new pair of Heresy IVs, which were my recent upgrade from Heresy IIIs. I run them with a fully restored and upgraded Marantz 2325. I am so impressed with the imaging and sound quality, I can't find anything that sounds any better. I tried a new Marantz Model 30 integrated amplifier and went back to the 2325. I have owned this receiver since new in 1975. Am I just biased, or has anyone else had a similar experience? Dan

I have Marantz 2325 restored with a pair of Heresy IIs upgraded to Heresy IIIs. The sound, imaging, separation, and clarity is legendary at low power settings and heart pounding when you crank it, but still legendary! I am getting a pair of Heresy IVs and I will let you know what they are like. They were an improvement in the showroom.

I have a pair of Heresy II's that I upgraded to III's with Klipsch's conversion kit. It came with new woofers, midrange, and tweeters. It also came with new H3 crossovers. It made a 100% difference. The bass is much stronger and mid/highs not so harsh. I power them with a Marantz 2325 receiver, so they have a full tube-like sound. You don't nee subs. I run tone controls flat.
