  1. In a 5.1 setup, there are no "rear" channels, only "side" channels. In 7.1 you have "rears" and "sides."
  2. Klipsch recently dropped the price of the HD Wireless from $5000 to $3000.
  3. Have you watched movies with it? If you have, I am curious how you would rate it for movie watching?
  4. I read a review on Amazon that a buyer of the Klipsch HD wireless system had the connectivity issues which completely resolved once he moved his Wifi router away from his control hub. Another person in the thread had the issue which also resolved once he moved his router away.
  5. I was considering buying them as well. The reviews I've read state that it sounds exactly like a wired system of Reference Premiers. Every review of it online states that it sounds spectacular. Crutchfield also just dropped the price on the system by $2000. I recently read a review on Amazon by a guy who said that the speakers sound spectacular but that about once a week one of the speakers would be disconnected from the hub and he would have to set up that speaker again. Its unclear if his issue was from the speakers themselves or from the control hub. What I was considering was buying the wireless RP speakers and using the Axiim HD Q WISA hub instead of the Klipsch WISA hub. For one thing that Axiim WISA hub supports DTS master audio and Dolby True HD but the Klipsch hub does not. Plus it may solve the connectivity issue that I referenced.
  6. I currently own a Sonos 5.1 system. It is primarily used for watching movies in my man cave. Its a nice system. I'm a sucker for great audio when watching movies so I've been thinking about upgrading to the Klipsch wireless home theater system (control hub, center speaker, front standing speakers, two bookshelf speakers as surrounds and the sub). The Klipsch system costs about $3000 more than the Sonos. I know that it will be sound better, but I'm wondering how much better it will sound and I was hoping that people who have listened to both setups can chime in. I have not listened to the Klipsch system personally but the reviews I've read all state that it is fantastic and sounds great.
