I bought the Nobsound version from Amazon along with a 24 volt power supply brick.
It sounds ... very good. It replaced an Harman Kardon HK870. I'm driving it with an old George Wright WLA-10 tube line stage, but it also sounded good w/ a Rotel tuner/pre.
I just bought a used regulated, linear power supply off eBay - that's supposed to kick it up a notch.
My speakers are 91db efficient Dahlquist M905s; I suspect it would sound even better w/the very efficient Klipsch stuff.
Bottom line: I'm not sure megabuck transistor amps are worth the money anymore, but SET-lovers don't have to panic, yet. That said, they might want one of these during air conditioner season.
