  1. My local dealer has them.. but have not heard of OSD Audio before. My first idea was Kimber 4 or 8TC.. but would have to order them online. But not sure if these goes well with the Cornwalls?
  2. Any experience with OSD Audio Aurum Premium speaker cables?
  3. In a week I will be receiving my new Hi-Fi system. Yamaha A-S2100 Yamaha CD-S2100 Klipsch Cornwall III I was wondering if you have any recommendations for speaker cables for the Cornwalls? I dont want it to sound to bright on the top end.. Would you recommend banana or spade connectors?
  4. I was wondering if you foresee any problems putting a Klipsch Heresy III on top of a R115SW subwoofer? Removing the small base on the Heresy, so it will be standing flat on it, not tilted.
  5. I am about to pull the trigger on purchasing a pair of Cornwall to put in our main living room. The size is; 16.5 x 29.5 ft.. I am planning on putting the speakers in the middle of the 29.5ft wall.. 9-12ft apart from each other. Now, on the opposite side, there are two large windows, 11ft long x 7ft high.. with a fireplace in between them, 6.5ft between the two windows. What I am worried about... will these speakers be to big, and might do some damage to these windows in the long run? I mean, fluctuations or bass constantly moving the window panels, might break the seal between the two panels and let air in between them. Am I beging paranoid?
  6. We are building a new house.. and this is the living room. Its 29.5 ft Long x 16.5ft Wide. I am thinking of placing a pair of Klipsch Cornwalls in the middle of the room. There is a 7ft long "section" we are placing the speakers between. At the opposite side, there is a fireplace, and two 11ft long, floor to ceiling windows. The drawings are obvious not 100% to scale... but this is the placement we are going with.
  7. I was wondering if there are any "cheap tube amps" that play well with the Cornwall III? Main goal: 1. They give great fun sound, 2, Does not hizz or hum when not playing.. A quiet amp. And, if it comes with XLRs, even better.
  8. We are building a HT room, at the end of our house. Its not 100% acoustically treated.. so no ear bleeding sound levels.. but immersive. We are most likely getting a PJ, but as the room is 11.5ft (W) x 16.5ft (L) x 9ft (H), and we should be able to put in a 140" 2.35:1 screen but its a tight fit... However, there might be TV, for a year or two, until 4K PJ comes down in price. A 75", sitting 5-10 ft is planned at first. Now, the equipment: Oppo 205 Marantz 8802a 5.1 with the hopefully the same L-C-R speakers, and the using the option of playing dedicated L-R for stereo. I have 3 options for the L-C-R.. 1. 3 x Klipsch Cornwall III 2. 2 x Klipsch Cornwall III + 1 Klipsch Heresy III (Center) 3. 3 x Klipsch Heresy III + 2 x R-115SW The idea is, that I might not need a SW with option 1? Or do you belive I need it?.. its a small room. The back surrounds are RP-250s.
  9. And, I sort of dream of getting 3 more Cornwalls, if I get an OK of converting the room to a HT. But maybe thats to much for the small room.. maybe just 4. One in each corner.
  10. We are building a house, and I have sort of gotten a OK of transforming a gust room to a AV room. Sort of.. its supposed to be used for guests and home office occasionally, so I can´t go full AV. The room is, 11.5 ft x 16.5 ft., with a long slender window above the speakers and 6ft window on the oppsing wall, aswell as a glass door. I am putting heavy drapes across them. Running Cornwalls, in such a small room, in a 2.0 system, would I be missing out on the surrond experience? Or would their massive soundstage kind of neglect it? The TV will be a 75" ULTRA HD 4k, running the new Oppo ( when it releases) sitting 6-7ft away from it and the speakers.
  11. Or, I am considering building a Room in Room. 3,5m x 2,8m x 2,7m
  12. Hi. First time poster here.. We are building a house, and I have sort of/kind of/maybe gotten myself a dedicated listening/Tv room.. its supposed to be a spare bedroom and sometimes used as a home office. So, unfortunately I can`t go full AV room.. there are compromises. The room is 11,5ft x 16,5ft, 8,8ft tall, with a long skinny window up by the ceiling where I am placing the speakers, and a glass door and 6ft window on the opposite end. These two I am going to put heavy drapes across. I have always wanted a Marantz PM11 S3 & SA11 S3... and combine it with a Klipsch Cornwall. The build quality of the Marantz are very nice.. and the solid long living Cornwall intrests me quite a bit. I am however not sure, how Marantz and Klipsch goes togheter. Would any of you have reservations regarding this match? In between these, I am putting a 75" Ultra HD, 4K LED tv.. and running Blue Rays through a Oppo UDP 205 ( whenever it releases)... at a distance of 6-7ft ( Or, do you feel I would need to "upgrade to 5.1" for the imersive movie watching.. considering the large Cornwalls ability to really express themselves in such a sized room) The primary reason for it, is listening to music. But also, function as a "Home Theater" once in a while.. would the Cornwalls, be to large for this room?
