  1. Apologies @Davis It's not plum crazy, I like the stance of that one when I searched for retro 90s American vehicles. This one is more my speed, by the Roadster Shop with a 528 Hemi!
  2. In the 90s I saw theses all over the place in Central FL @WillyBob Think they had the F-body (aluminum) LT-1 Dodge did the 10 cylinder Viper that was raw and literally vibrated you in your truck from across the intersection when they stomped it. But they weren't as accessible as that Chevy. These were definitely made with the retro angle in mind. Not quite like the soap-box-derby deuce coupe look. Probably more that I've forgot, I actually saw a couple of VW "Things" still being used when I was down there, remember them?

Another worn out LP replacement done years ago when my new Silverado had a cd player in it. Forte IIIs were made for recordings like this! Saw `em twice this tour, in Charlotte they did a freakin' medly for the whole d*mn show. Then down at the Omni they played a lot longer, did practically the whole new record and a lot off of Fragile and earlier, that made up entirely for the rip-off they did here, but the trip down to Atl. and overnight there was expensive at the big round hotel!
  4. When I hear the drummer, get me in the groove When I hear the guitar, makes me wanna move Can you feel the magic, floatin' in the air? Can you feel the magic? Oh, yeah💋

If you start me up If you start me up I'll never stop I've been running hot You got me ticking gonna blow my top If you start me up, if you start me up I'll never stop, never stop, never stop, never stop Might be one time too many for this album here at these forums... but it is the time of year for over-indulgence!!
  7. You are speaking truth there, I'm not wishing that though. The coaching, the environment, the offers & commits for the next few years, I just want `Bama to keep up for some yearly re-matches. Got no doubts about that either.

Hi @oldtimer I've got several of those, AudioFidelity made these hybrids very well, as well as their excellent 180 and 200 gram LPs. Albert Productions out of Australia makes an astounding sounding cd too. That cd above is close to good LP quality sound. I know the spectrum differences are there but nowhere close to what you get from cheaply made cds. They shut down this past May and the ones I was interested in were all gone or already marked way up when I found out about it.

Love YES, seen them twice and never picked that one up. Listening.... White car sounds reminiscent of older Genesis and the beginning of Tempus Fugit sounds like Kansas in their heyday. Yea I know the new singer came with this LP. Now when I went to replace my worn out Close to the Edge tried to get a good heavy LP. It came to me new with an intense short warp and noisy at the beautiful guitar at the beginning of And You and I. My tt tracked it well, but for $30 I sent it back. A regular here had the exact issue with the same LP by the same manufacturer across the world from me! The store was out of it in vinyl........ I picked this up and it's not as good as the sound on the LP, but it is real close. That's YES too bad I quit smoking pot and taking Lemmons Thank You for your youtube work vzqk50HD !
  10. Beeeutiful @Tarheel Whatcha going to test `em out with? I like the Kinks Superman for the bass, Marshall Tuckers entire Running Like the Wind (exceptional LP) with the flutes and vocals, some Kansas Leftoverture for the harmonies. Then that leads down the road to Depeche Mode, 808 State, Eric Clapton, ACDC Powerage, Billy Joel and everything else I know well. Enjoy them Chuck!!!
  11. I've been disappointed in the O line a bit this year but Travis and Trevor and --- and --- and --- are a force. Something very drastic would have to happen for Clemson to fall from relevance in the next decade.

@dirtmudd Never liked hearing that, especially first thing in the morning. It was a better day when 5:00 am was like this:
  13. EVERY other team the last few years has!
  14. We all have an affinity for Klipsch here, me particularly for the Heritage line. I am not pretending to be a moderator, but it is your thread. Maybe modify the title to Cables, Coffee, Cones and Cocktails Just the pics and video of those works of art make me want to know your personal opinions on them!

Hey Mike that one I had on a cassette, excellent trippin' sounds from it. Your link is silent for the first two songs!!! This one includes them: But then it goes down to 240 for San Jacinto and each song has been posted by different people. Need to get a new copy!
  16. They did not have labels on them. And he%^, I heard and of course felt a rib crack going over a parapet wall on one of those once. Did not miss one day of work but was practically in tears for six solid months with having to breathe, plus move my arms , pick up multiple fives and extension ladders all the time, spraying and/or backrolling elastomeric and such.
  17. Since you enjoy picking apart things I state, I'll give it a try now 😂 Hear Steve Martin: 📣 "Excuu🎵uuuuu🎵use Meeee" A Yankee from Long Island taught me that term in New Smyrna Beach FL about `04. So blame it on that unionized hard-*** very good friend of mine. He took a shine to me`cause of my work ethic and Irish temper, we were a lot alike. footnote: not mad oldtimer, I got a grin and a big chuckle out of what I quoted
  18. Dude, I could not find strings without blue except for the clear lights. I put them on an emptied string in case I needed it in the future to keep the sockets clean. I've only seen the blue pulled off in a satisfactory manner a couple of times, and this place isn't a multi-million art-deco or bambi & thumpers Frank Lloyd Wright place in Vegas! We've got Salmon, no Clemson Orange brick on a 50s small ranch house. **That wasn't a FLW in "Diamonds are Forever" It was someone that was an apprentice of Mr. Wright, John Lautner. This place could pull off blue Christmas lights! http://anguloarquitectura.com/en/elrod-house_diamantes-para-la-eternidad-1971/
  19. Those are two separate guys on Bolsons Chairs? That high? UH uhhh (shakes head sideways smiley) Never remember using this word before but read it many times...... That is incredulous! Either malice at play there or stupidity. Harsh but true. If you can't tie off properly... to a good fixture, and tie a good knot, immediately prior inspecting the rope... you should not be up three stories let alone that high! It's sad but from that height after a couple seconds of terror there was no pain for him.
  20. Good Night folks. Lights out, the front door here has a sliver of a window down the middle. No those aren't blue lights, bleh! must be the green ones showing up like that. It took forever to take all the blues out of all the strings and replace.
  21. beep beep At the same time in the 70s a fella down the street had two of these in his garage!!!!!!!!!! Two shock absorbers opposed to each other on each wheel, "I can drive 160 mph with only a finger on the steering wheel" was his response to how good the handling was on this fantastic beast. And my boss at the mall when we walked out one night and she had parked next to my new to me Charger because "It's pretty" said "If I had known you liked these I could have sold you this car." "It's getting harder to get a good mechanic to tune the three carburetors correctly. (1980) Then she walked around my Charger and got in her dark purple Barracuda 440 six-pack four speed that shook me when she cranked it up! Where is that "bangs head smiley" ?
  22. Yeah, keep your eyes on the road, your hand upon the wheel Keep your eyes on the road, your hand upon the wheel Yeah, we're goin' to the Roadhouse We're gonna have a real Good time

Ouch, bad for the 20 somethings. This guy came from Alice in Chains and actually got better after them.
