My PT-100 showed up today

Haven't gotten to play around with the new setup much yet, but the PT-100 and 2-160 are hooked up!

I've been drooling over these in the Facebook group. You've inspired me to do some kind of burl veneer on a set of cherry RF-5's that I bought to restore.

I wish they were closer, I need a pair in black.

Ours is from 1946 and is our beer fridge. My gf got it probably 10 years ago in CA, restored it, and has had it since. I will say that it can be expensive to repair: a recent thermostat replacement was over $400. However, that is the only thing that has failed during her ownership.

Special Reserve is widely available here for $17-19. I haven't seen WLW on a shelf, but another local place had an Antique Collection tasting that featured it. So damned good.

November here, as well. It seems most never make it to the shelf. My favorite store sets a lot of the allocated stuff aside for their annual charity auction. They just had a bottle of the 12 and two Special Reserve store picks go for $375 at this year's auction.

Whoa! I never see it (or even the Antique) on shelves here in CO. I have to make do with $6 for a 2 oz pour of W12 at a pizza place down the street :D.
