  1. Yeah, that's what I thought, youthman.I was looking at a couple different brackets on amazon but wanted to wait to see what I come up with for speakers. The only alternative I could think of was in-ceiling but don't think they would do the music and movies justice.Patience...grasshopper.
  2. Thanks Youthman.Would you take a look at this picture from last Christmas and tell me if I'm on the right track?I was planning on mounting the surround speakers on the side walls, parallel to the couch and above the funky pix(and bed). One the other side is sliders but it would be the same idea.Thats one reason I'd like a speaker that could handle the higher volume to compensate for the difference in distance. The ceiling is really nice and I want to make the holes and pull the wires once if I can.Wife's doing great and swings a mean quad cane when I screw up.I really appreciate the help.
  3. Hi all, New here but wish I found this forum years ago. This is going to sound ***-backwards but here it goes. When I got my RF-5's back in 04" my wife had a serious medical issue. There was a lot going on at the time and she's my top priority so I never got around to picking up the matching center channel or surrounds for the rf-5's.I would really love to hear these speakers in the recommended 5.1 setup before we have to move. The RSW sub is out of my price range right now but if anyone has the rs-7's or the rc-7 I'd be a very happy camper.I know from browsing here the rc-7 is popular but I am not looking for any particular finish if that helps.Last, this maybe a question for a different thread but would RB-5"s work as matching surrounds if rs-7"s are hard to find. Can they be wall mounted?I know its not ideal but there is a hospital bed and lift chair recliner in my living room that would rule out stands. We are in northern Ma./southern N.H. area.Thanks.
