  1. I may be wrong, but I believe that the 115SW is INCOMPATIBLE with the HD Wireless setup. The only sub that is built for the HD Wireless system is the 110WSW (which uses the WISA technology) Hope that helps!
  2. Anyone have any updates on this stuff? Is there any word from Klipsch? I've had the system for a year and a half, and it's been NOTHING but a game of rebooting speakers/hub. Now, for no apparent reason, my front left channel won't play any audio. This time, though, it still shows as connected in the system, and can play the audible beep when identifying. But, while watching something like netflix, no sound comes out without unplugging the speaker. And then it's just another cross your fingers moment while it decides whether or not to give up again. I'm beginning to think that Klipsch has abandoned the HD wireless system, and the fact that there have been no updates to firmware seem to confirm that. Every day, my mind is blown that a company as big as Klipsch can sell a product as expensive as this, and offer ZERO support (not just for fixes, but seriously, that horrendous, straight-out-of-the-eighties user interface screen that has its own set of glitches..... really???). What really boggles my mind is trying to imagine what the target demo must think. I mean, I'm extremely tech-savvy, so this kind of nonsense is nothing new, so I just kind of roll with it. What's the non-tech purchaser thinking when their $5k home theater works whenever it feels like it? I just don't get it. Bottom line: I love Klipsch, and have a LOT of Klipsch gear, but I'm stunned.
  3. Hoping some of the moderators/Klipsch employees can chime in, here. I have the HD Wireless 5.1, and I'm running the latest firmware. I absolutely love how this system sounds, but the technical quirks are some of the most annoying things I've ever encountered. Honestly, it's gotten to the point where I no longer "show off" the system unless I've had a few minutes to ensure everything is running as it should be. The random disconnects average 3-4 times a week, and can be up to 3 times a day. Luckily, I've discovered that the easiest fix is just going into the setup and hitting "add speakers", as it seems to flush its database and rebuild, based on the existing speaker assignments (if it glitched and reassigned the speaker, you have to manually change that on the speaker). Sometimes, though, it just completely falls apart (garbled menu, remapping speakers, dropping speakers, etc.), and must have its power unplugged for it to recover. Again, I absolutely adore all my Klipsch gear, and, when this system works, it's simply amazing. But, I can't understand how something so expensive can have so many bugs. The market for this system is very clearly to people who want good sound, but don't want to cut into their walls to get it, AND can afford to pay a premium for such freedoms. However, I know damn well that those kinds of people aren't the type who tolerate stuff like this. It's hard to get friends to buy stuff if I have to say "hold on, I have to reboot it". Thoughts? Advice? Thanks!
