  1. WOW I registered, which was a hassle and paid the funds and reserved the motel rooms in advance.I have been wanting to do this for years. SIGH disappointed.
  2. Old Thread same issue looking for the Thiele-Small Parameters for the K-1036 Thanks Louis
  3. I was looking at them but too ruff for my wood working skills with arthritis in my hands now. Thinking a friend of mine could rescue them. I live in the DFW area and he is near Baytown South of Houston. So I passed on them but decent price as you don't see many Belle for this price but it will cost some $$ and labor to make them like new again.
  4. I use Bob Crites Ti diaphragm in my KLF20 and C7 for HT vs the stock Poly. He may have a Ti for the RC7.
  5. If you change your mind I will pay UPS to package them, ins, and tracking plus the asking price no bartering on your OBO price.
  6. I was looking at a pair of SB 2000 to replace my two 15 year old Klipsch Synergy Sub 12 I use with my Cornwalls for HT. My neighbor had a pair that I really enjoyed. I lucked on to a used SVS PB 13 Ultra (now PB 4000) and WOW it digs deep and very musical . No regrets after 6 months of constant use (retired) will see in 10 years if I have chosen wisely. Enjoy the new SVS subs they have GREAT Customer Service and free return if you don't like them.
  7. Try them both ways to find out if they sound different. Mine have been on carpet from day one (1979) I am curious if you can hear any difference. Welcome to the Cornwall Club :-)
  8. I have used a Yamaha AVR for years with my 7.1 with Cornwall for fronts and it sound great 130X7 (i wish)but the Denon TOTL AVR seem have better power supplies as most bech test really well with ALL speakers on. Plus I like the Audyssey my Onkyo TX-SR 805 (that fried after two years.) was better (more adjustments) then my 2008 Yamaha YAPO room correction feature. When my RX-V 1900 finally fries I will upgrade to a ATMOS Denon with at least 130X 9 for my 7.1.2 for ATMOS. I use a klipsch C7 center between my Cornwalls and it is really close to being a Timber match with twin 8" woofers and 10" horn.
  9. Another option that is not so expensive look at these https://www.amazon.com/dp/B002YPS6T6/_encoding=UTF8?coliid=I2EKDNPXXZ800A&colid=191Q7D4640CCO
  10. Moray James was a big help several years ago when we repaired a pair of KLF 20 that had loose motor boards and installed Bob Crites Ti diaphragms in the tweeters and had the X/O re-capped. I would follow Moray's advice on speaker placement as we never had a issue with the bass after we did the repair and Bob Crites mods. The brighter mids and tweeters made us increase the gain to the woofers until I found the best gain adjustment.
  11. There use to pictures of a stand here for the Heresy that held a second 12" woofer in it. The forum has changed it's been several years from my last visit here and I don't see them now. I lost my pass word and forgot my user name so I had to re-register so I am a new member again LOL
  12. Great looking stands, and I too like the color and size. Moray James has helped a lot of us Klipsch owners over the years, I still have a pair of Crites CT-125 tweeters I purchased from him years ago. I had Crites new networks in my Cornwalls (1979) and these tweeters was a nice Mod.
