  1. 😂. I hope it will be some years to come before I say the same. Then again... Working 50% of the time you are actually at work and only having to work 3 days a week might have something to do with it. Congrats on your retirement and enjoy! Stick around here and I'm sure many will help you burn through some retirement money quickly (but you will love every minute of it).

    .

    Sale pending to @babadono
  3. Try upscale audio. I don't know about risk fee..... Many a hifI dealer will nto do so anymore unless they have a demo pair on hand perhaps.
  4. I saw that too and was gonna comment, you dirty man you
  5. The extension cord in the tiny door being used as a winch to pull a normal sized human through the door?
  6. Bunch of wood outside, but none of it looks applicable for speaker building. Also no bar on the top deck
  7. Rear deck mounted sub ported into the cabin of the car. Strong work
  8. Awesome story. Excellent on @richieb behalf to invite you into his time to do so. Time to pay it forward. I really want to hear a pair of Jubes myself, but I'm quite concerned that I will have to have a pair after hearing them.... For now I'll be content with the 396s and a sub.
  9. Amazing, that side panel on the LA scalas. Can only imagine how much better they must be in person. Those are surely lifelong keepers. Excellent work!
  10. Damn, you don't say. When have I had that happen to me? Oh yeah, every other thing I have listed on CL. Hopefully someone on here snatches them up.
  11. 😂, Rollie has just about anything for sale that you could possibly want.
  12. Well shit, what does it cost, maybe I'm a buyer. LA scalas alone should make the sale!
  13. Story of my life. Gotta pay to play, no matter what your into
  14. They just NEED a beastly sub (factor that into the cost of buying a pair) and they will amaze you for some time to come. It is incredible how they come alive as the volume increases. They sound wonderful at reasonable volumes (read NOT low volumes). To be honest, I bought the MBM21 sub to keep up with these speakers. They truly have incredible output clarity. For those with smaller spaces such as what I am dealing with, I don't think they can be beat honestly. I know Carl said he feels they need to be outside to breath. I don't. I have used them inside and outside and compared the differences. At high volumes, I'm sure they sound better outside. Rarely do I get to use them anywhere near their full potential though... Just my 2 cents.
