  1. We have similar taste in speakers and gear I'd like to think
  2. Has to be room dependent. I disagree. At lower volumes, Chorus I sound MUCH fuller. Chorus IIs didn't come alive in two drastically different rooms/homes until fed power and turned up. I would give the nod of leaner to Chorus II unless you place them ON or very close to the wall (sounded awful IMO that way and for my taste).
  3. No wonder you had those big *** setups and pro LA scalas ha. I don't listen quietly that's for damn sure. I also don't listen at 11 either... Depends on what's powering the speakers I should say... M never played with 1-5 watts....
  4. Absolutely agreed. I would go as far as to say, from my experience, the chorus II is NOT a lower volume speaker. Perhaps some low watt tube or class A amps could change my mind.... But I haven't auditioned with anything like that.
  5. If you have the room, are willing to spend the time playing with placement and don't listen at 65 dB (exaggeration) , I would pick the chorus IIs, but they tend to show up less often and for double the price (not worth it to me) in my neck of the woods. If that were even close to the case, I would pick the chorus I. If they are close in price and both available considering what I mentioned above, I would pick the chorus IIs
  6. Chorus I sound better at lower volumes. Chorus II takes a little more juice IMO to bring the bass out and equal out the tonal balance. Chorus I is super easy to place anywhere, Chorus IIs are pickier due to passive radiator and needed space from rear wall and side wall to give me what I wanted (perhaps not as ideal in a small room).
  7. If those were longer, would have bought these in a second. Nice
  8. I am interested in hearing the advice on this one myself
  9. Thank you. Much agreed by OWNERS of the JB4 on cars. So are you saying your car doesn't drive erratically with a boost in torque? How strange haha. Burger motorsports makes some great products. Only way it MIGHT be detectable is if you have to tap into AFR wire for stage 2 levels of boost. Tiny pinhole in wire coveted by loom anyhow.
  10. This guy is "still in diapers" I guess? Quicker than a dodge demon, but who's counting. Theres another in Puerto Rico than a notably quicker than this one as well, but not just in a straight line either....
  11. Don't be humble, A LOT more. Nice rigs you have worked on. Watched a few of your YT links, good stuff. Golf r and S3 are the same as well. The 5 cylinder and up series is where Audis get fun.
  12. No time soon. My best window passed and grandparents are still here for the little one. Perhaps when they are no longer with us, hopefully quote aways away. Wish I would have left already before prices got crazy everywhere and now rates. Definitely not looking to be and be well upside a few years later with artificial sky high prices.
  13. To you I smile Dave. How are ya? Hope all is well.
  14. Sure do but you don't. VW makes audio and Lamborghini. Done arguing with someone that is clueless, just trying to answer the question posted.
  15. You are funny. I had a highly modded golf r. No, jb4s DO NOT affect the behavior of normal driving. You don't get a massive tq increase at 0 Rpm. Have you ever driven a car with a jb4 to Comment? Didn't think so. Have you even driven a highly modded golf r? Didn't think so. There are some VERY fast vws and Audis. Get a clue. I watched plenty of them destroy American cars and exotics all day long as socal Euro on the drag strip. But you know it all as usual.
