  1. You more than likely will have that problem I mentioned. They sound awesome, but I would say save the money. Especially if you listen at lower levels, it will bug you. I don't know if that combo will play nicely together.... Wouldn't be my pairing.
  2. Just know with thay kind of power on klipsch, as there are no trim knobs on the amps, it may be very difficult to get your desired volume level. A tiny increase in volume may be much more than you are looking for. Only reason I didn't keep it. I knew that would be the case but got it cheap and wanted to hear it. Squeaky clean sound, soft on treble, killer control over quality and quantity of bass and very good sound staging. I thoroughly enjoyed it while I had it. Good luck on your pursuit.
  3. Wyred for sound amps sound amazing. I have demoed several class D amps and hated them sounding compressed almost like an mp3. That was years ago and I have left them alone since. I just sold a ST-1000 MKII for $1000 in mint condition. It was obviously too much power for the Cornwalls. Bought it from a friend to try out the new digital sound. I am strongly debating buying their smaller model when it comes up..... I don't think you can go wrong with one.
  4. I feel your pain. I am inpatient and that would drive me crazy. I don't know that I would have ordered them that soon.... Then I would be tempted to find some way to listen regardless.

  6. You are correct. Glad you understand that.
  7. Cardiac disease (case in discussion) is very unfortunate and another that sneaks up on far too many. Wish you all the best in health.
  8. High blood pressure is truly the silent killer. I'm in the neuro ICU today and if you saw the number of pts here and how young many are, it is ALARMING
  9. @wvu80 you are right on the money and we are in agreement there.
  10. @teaman@teaman, sorry to hear about your folks. I deal with these sort of things daily and often, prevention is the key. Risk factors are quite important to assess.
  11. @K5SS I agree, however, those at high risk woudk benefit tremendously. I don't believe in taking medication that isn't needed as well.
  12. I didn't even open the article as I am at work, but that would be a solid opening statement.
  13. Bayer is a brand name coated aspirin. Generic is the way to go when available.
  14. Well when I worked in ER daily, many would ask for a prescription for Tylenol and motrin ($1 each bottle at the 99 cents store. No judgment). So cost is in the eye of the beholder?
  15. Yes you are correct. Unfortunate about being in the know. Hope all is well with you BTW. My point was, of all "blood thinners" I would characterize a baby aspirin a day (if indicated) as fairly harmless in comparison with its potential life saving effects.
  16. Much better than plavix or Coumadin that's for sure. If you need it, you need it. The flip side could be much worse. Some require bloodthinners. It all depends.
  17. I'm in contact with the seller directly. Appreciate all the input.
  18. Large return fee I was expecting. Plus trailer hitch and so on... I have fit a pair of Cornwalls in the car that fit to the MM. The chorus and heresys also fit to the inch.
  19. @wstrickland1, please see my post about my work hours and time constraints. I don't have much time on my days off and my preferences are what they are.
  20. That is what I was curious about. That would be a deal breaker..... 5 to 6 hour round trip plus additional cost and hassle.... I always put speakers in my car or use a buddies truck. The less hassle the better for me if that makes sense... I work a lot (12 to 16 hour shifts) and on my few days off i only have so much time for such adventures.
  21. Uhaul truck I know from experience will be around 150 or so I would estimate. Maybe more. They charge mileage, gas vehicle fee and so on. Distance is around 350 mile round trip. I think the trailer option makes sense and is cheap. Thanks everyone for the input. We will see what I come up with. Working for the next few days anyhow.
  22. Haha. I will have to have a passenger. The problem is that the quartets are much taller. Stacking them on top of each other won't work. Trust me I measured multiple times haha. I certainly wouldn't drive all that distance to have them not fit. Will explore the trailer option and see if I can't make that work.
