  1. @wstrickland1 that B&K 200.2 is astupid good deal in the used market IMO. I owned one and sold it to "upgrade". Wasn't much of an upgrade sound wise. Sounds like a nice system indeed.
  2. Just bought me an St-1000 II. Hope these live up to all the hype they get. GLWS man!
  3. Nice man. Wish I could have been there. Sounds like a great time

Regardless I still love klipsch gear. Some of the best value of used gear IMO. Looks, sound and price I can see why so many people join this forum. Let's just say I'm blending hifI and pro audio.

I do. I am surprised they haven't sold myself. I got me a new setup entirely in a, different direction. May share on the KLIPSCH forum at some point.
  6. Haha. I remember you and I had this Congo about the heresys. To pack and ship, fully insured from west coast to east cost was going to be close to 300.
  7. Shocked at the cost high or low Jim? Shipping is outrageous near me lately...
  8. OK I get it.... Now I understand you klipsch pro guys. These little guys are like heresys on a very healthy dose of steroids. They don't dig as deep but they easily best the sound of my older heresys I have had and the output capabilites are of course ridiculous.
  9. Haha I don't think so. These will be PERFECT for backyard garage parties. No sub needed and they will be put of sight.
  10. Just bought a pair of KLIPSCH Pro KP-250 for $60. They work perfectly and are in pretty good shape. Will post pics in a bit. What a deal!
  11. " Some of your fine stuff would be in my house now if you had. That is... if it was up here!" -easy fix. I have said it before but it's worth repeating. USHIP is VERY affordable if you have a little patience waiting for the right bid and it's shocking how cheap you can get large heavy speakers to your door from another state. They are driven to you and cared for by ONE person. I have never had a problem using their services. They have feedback for each shipper. That is always an option.
  12. Guess who's gonna start listing in Seattle? 😁
  13. Anyone heard or own the KI 396 and using them for home duties? Impressions?
  14. I avoid that by skipping vintage electronics unless I want to spend the additional time and money rebuilding. Safe to assume it will need to be done I agree.
  15. @Coytee, what do a pair of the KI-396 sell for roughly? I don't see it listed as discontinued, yet there is no info on that model. Thanks.
  16. That's crazy. I guess I'm lucky I had the one isolated incident. It someone represents at item as a 9, but it ends up being a satisfactory 8 I don't make a big deal about it especially if the price was right. Deep gouges scratches? That's a 5 or a 6. That would be a big deal.
  17. That was fast. Knew that was a great price. Quality gear.
  18. "I would consider partial trades for LaScala IIs (Schu)" Haha. He won't be needing those anymore. GLWS man
  19. Glad you got things worked out. Been there, done that. Pain in the ***. Sometimes it better to agree to disagree but a negative feedback, eating the cost of shipping both ways in a $700 unit that was perhaps misrepresented doesn't make sense to me from a sellers standpoint.
