I am with MMurg on this. In my case the AXI was much better than the 691 AFTER 12 or so rounds of tuning to my room with ChrisA. My system is 2 channel and no HT use. I have also heard the Heritage and the tops compared well, but the Heritage had the edge on the bass for sure. I am using dual subs its close but not the same.

So I did some some testing.
Turned the Pre/DAC up to max, had the hiss.
Muted the 4080 inputs, still present.
Muted the 4080 outputs, still present.
Turned off the QSC PLX 1104 amp that drive the AXI 2050's, hiss went away.
So its in the amp, no big deal, even at full volume still have to stick my head into the horn to hear it.

Yes a 4080 and QSC amps. Haven't tried to determine the exact source its so small.

I have a bit, but you have to stick your hear right inside the 402 to hear it. Yes, you can put your head into a 402.

I am in the exact same situation as Marvel. Had removal by the DaVinci robotic method in December.
I choose removal since a MRI, Biopsy and PSMA PET scan all pointed to it being contained in the prostate.
Just had my 3 month PSA test and it came out at <0.1 which they consider undetectable.
As mentioned above all of you gentlemen that haven't, get the PSA test, get a base line and watch your numbers.

The new small inverter generators have enough power for the AC and are very quiet.

Looks to me like the +/Red wire should go to the TIP, and the -/White wire should go to the RING and the shield should only be connected at the Xillica end. I believe that's how a proper Balanced to Unbalanced connector is wired. If the shield is connected at both ends, it may become an antenna and pick up noise.

Try disconnecting the shield at the RCA end.

Personally I'd just keep the amps, the extra headroom in the power can't hurt.
