I would think you need to get them at least 30 cm from the wall.

Unfortunately I am physically not able to disassemble the speakers and access the crossovers to test the caps, so wanted to know if there's a non-invasive way to assess the caps before I hire someone to take the crossovers out to send them out for capacitor replacement.
Hence my questions:
1. Have 40 year old caps most likely degraded to the point that replacement would make audible improvements?
2. Is there a listening test to determine if capacitor replacement would improve sound?
Where do you live, maybe someone could come and help you out.

Probably works out since you're in NV. Its a bit tougher to net out here in MN.
Are you sure you're getting enough watts?
What about night time?
Maybe think about disposal costs down the road?
What is the condition of your roof, how soon is it due for replacement?

And for me at least how much distortion your loudspeakers are making. With the Jubes it is extremely easy to get way too happy with the mains fader.
With the Jubes, I also find they can be louder as background music and we can still hold a conversation at the same time.

Also, I think Roy said "they sound ok".

Does it square back up when a signal is applied?

Seems to me that any room large enough to be a decent HT room, should be large enough to use Jubilees in.

This thread has some information on why one may want to question the value of power expensive cables.

I just used Scott to repair a Carver TFM-6CB and a Carver TFM-35 and a Sunfire 2 Channel for me. He is local to me so its was great to find him. Very reasonable pricing.

Be sure to give it some setup time before moving so it flows out nicely.

Your going to need a mic and REW software at a minimum. Has a pretty large learning curve though. Are there any Pro Audio rental company or consultants in your area? Perhaps a local band sound engineer?
Very impressive set up, its really going to sound great once dialed into the room.

Don't want to be that guy, but what do the product instructions state? They usually have temp and humidity ranges listed.

Buy with confidence, they will be packaged very well. In this case free shipping is a big deal!

yeap... that's NOT gonna fit, better ship them to me.
Congratulations FOR SURE.
what serial numbers are they and what does the badging and SKU numbers on the boxes look like? Can you please get some photos of that stuff?
I am rather slightly surprised that the HF was shipped with the Celestion attached... that driver is a BIG mofo and VERY heavy @ almost 20lbs each, and watch out for those emotiva ribber feet on the DSP... probably not good for veneer.
Here is what I did with mine.

You are going to be soooo happy! Once dialed in and warmed up a bit you will have a continuous smile on your face, just like the rest of us lowly UJ owners.

Over double what they're worth.
No doubt. It seems people selling anything with a vintage look think its worth 3 prices.

The 4080 boots on the network with DHCP. Then you use the display on the unit to find the IP address it grabbed. Then you enter that address into the PC app. Or just direct connect it with a USB cable.

I have a pair of KPT-480's they use 18" driver with a 15" passive. They are a commercial Klipsch product and are rated down to 40.
Anyone use Heritage speakers for partying?

With the larger heritage speakers, you have more volume without being loud.
