  1. So I had my heart set on the rp280s and 450c combo. I got a hell of a deal for brand new ones right at $1k. I ordered them and two days later got an email saying they were sold out but they “upgraded” me to the 8000s/504. I know they are just the new models, but has anyone done any direct comparison on how they sound? Should I just be happy with the free upgrade?
  2. Forgive me if this is a simple question. I have all of my speakers set to small with varying crossover frequencies based off of what they can handle 60-80hz basically. So on the back of my sub the dial reads from 40-120-lfe. What should I put this on to achieve the best sound?
  3. So I believe I am getting ready to head down a slippery slope. I currently am running the reference line rf28(l&r) and the 25c for center. I am debating on going up to rp280, and rp450s. So the question is..... is the upgrade going to be that significant??? I have been happy with what I have had so far, and the old statement of ignorance is bliss pops up in my head. I just feel like I’m missing out on something. Has anyone made that leap? Was it substantial? All I ever owned/heard before this was htib shenanigans. Help!!
  4. I have a question. I'm new to this whole scene and am wondering if upgrading my center channel from the r25 to the r450 is a good idea. I've been reading of timber matching and I'm not sure the upgrade would match. By no means am I an audiophile. Is it even going to be that much of a difference to justify to extra $? I use my system for just movies and games. Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated. Currently own: 2 r28fs 2 r12sw 2 r15 r25c
