  15. I’m with you Joe, I have a Marchand x/o and could not be happier. I know a guy that felt like you did that everything was starting to sound somewhat the same and started attributing it to hearing loss. He had some “busy life time” come up and had not listened to his system for a few months. When he did finally sit down for a listen he marveled at how beautiful the music was. He said he didn’t plan the break but felt like it was just what he needed. Not saying you need a break, just sharing a fellow audiophiles life experience. I have enjoyed reading many of your post and wish only the best for you in your musical enjoyment.

    Jokes?

A skeleton walks into the bar and orders 2 beers and a mop.
  18. Thanks for the recommendations and advice. Looks like I will be staying with the single SIT3 for the HF. It really does a great job by itself, just enjoy contemplating different ideas. I would love to try a pair of SIT1 but they don’t come up for sell very often.
  19. The bass bins are klipsch 904. I use a pair of Pass Lab Aleph 2 as amplifiers.
  20. I run First Watt SIT3 on HF (Klipsch 402) and Pass Mono blocks Aleph 2 on LF (Klipsch 904). Pass X2.5 preamplifier and Pass Aleph P preamplifier (to gain match the SIT3 and Aleph 2). Sounds really good to me.
  21. I run First Watt SIT3 on HF (Klipsch 402) and Pass Mmno blocks Aleph 2 on LF (Klipsch 904). Pass X2.5 preamplifier and Pass Aleph P preamplifier (to gain match the SIT3 and Aleph 2). Sounds really good to me.
  22. I have a bi-amped system in which I use the First Watt SIT3 to amplify the HF K 402 with Radian 760 Br Pb drivers. My thought is to get a 2nd First Watt SIT3 to separate the L and Right HF channels so that each HF channel is separately amplified by its on SIT3. The advantage would be the isolation of the single transformer in the SIT3 only running one channel each. Sounds reasonable to me, what do you think ?
