  1. Very nice set of Forte's there but like the gentleman above said those definitely are not the original woofers. Look like they could also be the crites replacement woofer. But without yanking them out and looking you just can't tell. GLWS.
  2. I could but I'm not paying the shipping bill. But I would be happy to put them on a pallet and shrinkwrap them to it if you want to setup a freight service to come pick them up. Anything is possible with enough cheddar and motivation. Send me a message if your really interested and we can work something out.
  3. Giving these another bump to see if the buyer still wants them. Thanks Cheers, Chad
  4. Unit is almost new as I have only been using it to test new speakers I buy and other that that is just stays on my tech bench. I would make me happy if it went to a good home where someone would get a ton of use out of it. Original box I don't have but the setup mic and mic stand as well as some paperwork and the remote are all included. I will print the spec sheet and ship that with the unit and you can go to the Denon website and download the manual in PDF formate. All current firmware has been uploaded and installed with no issues or incidents. At the moment I've got a pair of Klipsch epic CF-2s hooked up to it as well as a mahogany Klipsch kg 2.5 for a center channel & a pair of RF3's pulling surround duty. Lastly I've got 1 12" sub handling the lows. The system sounds very very good. Looking for $375 obo
  5. I e never had a chance to listen to the old 3 way jub or the new 2 way so I was speculating out of my rear end I apologize didn't mean to start a debate. But I have had three pair of Forte's two pair of klf 20s THX system every speaker in the kg line at one time or another a pair of heresies and a pair of corn walls and three pair of epics and I can honestly say that those KP 3002's sound just a little more in your face and very loud. As for right now I have a pair of Forte with crites crossovers and tweeter modifications for RL chan, the first model THX LCR as my center, 2 pair of KG 2.5s taking care of the rear surround sound and the front Dolby Atmos speakers and 2 Klipsch 12" subs to round out my 5.2.2 Dolby Atmos system in my bedroom. Living room has 5 epic cf2s doing the front center, right, left & rear right and left. Then a couple KG 3 hanging high in front for the Dolby Atmos experience. Oh and 2 more 12" subs as well. Anyway to keep my loving wife from being unhappy I've decided to sell off a bunch of stuff that I'm not using or haven't used in some time. Cheers to you all
  6. Yah I hate to get rid of them there great for my garage and they can get so loud you can hear them a block away from my house. Tested shortly on several occasions lol. I wonder if they sound similar to the new jubilee but I haven't heard him yet.
  7. Looking to sell my pair of Klipsch pro KP 3002. These baby's are not pretty but boy do the sound great and can really scream if you through some watts at them. But like I said in my other posts I'm running out of room and the man cave is over flowing with speakers and in getting the horns from my lovely wife. Listing says 500 but for the Klipsch guys first one to come with 425 gets them. https://reno.craigslist.org/ele/d/sparks-klipsch-kp-3002/7494412130.html

  10. Hello there Alaska I'm down in Nevada so it's not too far to ship and I would be willing to do so under the right circumstances. I have 3 very nice Klipsch KG4's. When I used them I used all 3 for my left, right & center channels and it sounded great. If your still looking maybe we can come to an arrangement on speaker price and shipping cost. Let me know if your interested. Chewy
  11. Already paid the nice guy for it. Just waiting to pick it up. Going to use as my 5th cf-2 as a center channel.
  12. Well I guess I'm asking too much or nobody's upgrading KG4s these days. Make me a reasonable offer and let's get a pair of KG4's sounding a bit better. Thanks, Chewy
  13. Let me see if I can find my old ones after I upgraded to the titanium. If I can sort them out just pay for shipping and there yours.
  14. I've fixed dozens of Klipsch speakers with glue issues from KLFs & Epics to KG 3.5 & 4.5s. Each and every time all I did was remove all the drivers, crossovers & wiring, dampening material and binding post plate. Then used a rubber mallet on the inside of the enclosure to loosen and remove the rattling culprit. Once the rattling board is removed you take a 1/2" wood chisel or similar and proceed to remove all the old glue from the board you removed and from the enclosure. It comes out fairly easy and shouldn't take more than an hour to do both speakers. After the glue has been removed is a perfect time to add any internal bracing for your cabinets to stiffen up any unwanted resonance or dampening material like Dynamat for your horns and woofer baskets to combat the same unwanted resonance if your so inclined. Next step is to reglue the rattling piece that was removed. I always used liquid nail and never had any issues. I tend to use a bit more than less when applying my bead of liquid nail around the perimeter of the enclosure. Around the size of a #2 pencil will suffice but lean towards using more rather than less. The fit of the removed board was always snug and didn't leave more than a 16th of an inch on any side which didn't allow any of the liquid nail to squeeze out and mess up the outside look of the cabinet. Any excess of glue will squeeze out inside the box, you can either leave it the way it is and let it dry or you can put on some disposable gloves or whatever you choose to use and wipe down the bead of adhesive that was squeezed out of the channel after attaching the removed piece. I personally let the adhesive dry wherever it ended up. After letting the adhesive set for the recommended time, 60 min if you decide to use the proper liquid nail variety, finish reassembling your speakers. Don't forget your dampening material and speaker polarities when hooking things back up. All in all it really is quite simple to do with about 25 dollars worth of tools from harbor freight and some liquid nail from your favorite hardware store. Phillips screwdriver ( to remove drivers ect.) Rubber mallet Wood chisel Caulking gun Tube of liquid nail I hope this helps someone in the future fix some great sounding Klipsch speakers.
  15. Looking to sell these for 200 dollars. 20 dollars less than what they cost. I ended up selling my KG4's right after I bought these and the new owner did not want to pay for the new crossovers. I was going to try and exchange them for some CF-2 rebuilds but never got around to asking them. Too much time has past for me to ask the good folks at crites but there still brand new and never been used. 200 bucks plus small shipping fee to your location and there yours. Still has the plastic pads covering the sticky part of the velcro so you can mount them inside.
  16. I can sell you a K-9-K for your KG2. Send me a message if you are still in need of one. Oh and good luck with the restoration.
  17. I've got a few of those speakers left. There used and in great shape. Got a couple that have had the surrounds patched but still sound great for a little cheeper. The surrounds could be redone but I like the look and function of the inverted original surrounds. Anyway let me know what exactly your looking for. Sent from my SM-N960U using Tapatalk
