  2. I'm at a loss for word's, concerning the faraday cage
  3. phew.... I thought I was going to have to wait forever to reply.... well.... don't mow tonight unless you have a Halloween costume made of window screens
  4. had to look up KL 396 http://images.klipsch.com/KI-396-SMA-II_-_Spec_Sheet_635699831590138000.pdf
  5. I also wondered about your driveway, where mention of a 4x4 was involved... Is your driveway like this ??? I did a google for "Steep driveway's" lol
  6. Have you opened the carton's and checked inside, since they're in the garage, seems like you might of ??? - usually, there is only so long before a claim can be filed if you find freight damage, nevertheless, the component warranty becomes that much shorter too, so here's an idea... Set 'em up in the Garage on a 8x10 patio rug (they are discounted for the end of the summer) …. enjoy
  7. Hello Dave, at first, I thought, as the video started out... is that the strange football announcer ? but anyway, Thanks for the post, classic at least, funny for sure, I'm pretty sure too there will be news about mosquitos soon....
  8. .. o O (speaking 'bout houses, driveways, speakers, waterheater's, workers, walkways, whatever) wouldn't a nice old tractor fix everything....
  9. It's a Punching Box... should have plenty of hole's this time next year lol
  10. Coke Bottle Collectors are probably the only one's looking forward to another container collection... make's you wonder, or at least it make's me wonder if the store's selling this new infusion, will offer the new concoction in a small single serve brown paper bag.... the can's will probably have a "get out of jail" coupon printed on the side....
  11. Sounds like 20 gallons of gas sittin' in the quicksand.... improvise
  12. I'm not a doctor, but, try it you'll like it, so yes, continue, carry on, 81 mg low dose.....
  13. same mistake I made, no words can describe this poor attempt at coffee, except I imagined somewhere in the chain of idea's, someone figured out a use for the used drive-thru coffee left-over grounds, and repackaged them …. so much for being green
  14. I'm sure you're just talking about the doorway, unless this fridge is 8' tall and in a box.... doorway's are a breeze, so are those wheels on the bottom. Good luck with the ice maker water line, door hinge relocation, shelf relocation, wifi adjustments, and reloading everything, maybe before the last game of Sunday Night Football....
  15. no reserve this time, except for the highest auto bidder thing... on page 16 of the completed listings they were at 3200 back in Aug.... seems like last year too, there was a similar auction pictured in the great outdoors of the back of another pickup truck ???
  16. just a learning curve thing, amazing thread, cool Jupiter's btw, I wondered if they would fry the original tweeters... original being that I just figured everyone has the K33, K55 & K77 set-up and if the drivers would need an upgrade too. The Jupiter made me think there's some "horsepower" inside it. I know that's a broad question, (here's the but part -->) but I have an older 54 Klipschorn with the K500-5000 crossovers and there's not a lot of specific remedies that I've found, except that I should change that board out, and I haven't seen a driver recommendation other than the 3 regular one's while reading here this evening, unless I missed it.... I know there's lot's of drivers "out there" and I respect the original thread topic and don't really need an answer, I'll always continue to read and wonder and eventually figure it out. Nevertheless, I have a leftover K77M square from a Heresy that I changed out with a CT110 that Mr Crites sold, that I could use in lieu of messing with the older University and leaking metal can cap on my Klipschorn, hence, the question, not intended to be a hit and run...
  17. got up at 3:15am, made 2 cups, left for my job, had a good day at work, just got home 30 min's ago... breaking the seal on a 30oz McCafe medium ground roast coming into rotation tomorrow morning,.. rinse... repeat... same thing all day tomorrow.... cheer's !
  18. cell phones today, have those slim batteries, in fact, the phone itself is a computer, it seemed to me, that a good 20v lithium ion battery could easily be utilized to provide power, in extended instances, I pictured just buying a belt clip, using a cable and two adapters from your belt to where ever, and you're back in business.... looking at the Dewalt page, they even have a wifi set-up (what will they think of next) I thought their radio was pushing it when that came out a few years ago...
  19. ut-oh, I detect a trip to home depot today... haven't noticed that battery before now, thanks for the idea, a belt clip was in my thoughts, a pic is forth-coming, impromptu the details, will work on that later....
  20. every time I saw a news story, about plywood and boarding up windows, there was a Dewalt... I would wager that if dewalt had an adapter for a cell phone battery, even if a coil up cord was in the design, everyone would want one !
  21. mornin'... light coming up on the horizon, 3 cup's down here, just hoping the best for our east coast bud's, seen the news, kind of thinking we'll eventually hear about the method's to save your Klipsch eventually...

  23. nothing compares with anything I've ever seen, with the video link on drudge I saw this evening, from the observatory, maybe u got a glance of the "red stuff" into the sun, before the vid is yanked, maybe it won't be, because I thought, wtf, I am not going to post the link, because my theory, or story, or reasonable explanation, or understanding of the word unknown, or thought's about... got to shush up and stop, it's strange
