  1. Yeah; big fan of Kiko ... OOPS; thought you were referring to Keiko (Matsui). Big fan of hers; saw her live several times
  2. OK, tapes were sold within 5 minutes on Fleabay - haha for $30 more
  3. Haha; put the hubs on Audiomart and they were sold in the first minute
  4. Haha. OK, also have 10" metal reels with or without tape and a set of new hubs
  5. No R2R enthusiast's here? OK; final offer $99 Just put it on US Audiomart for $130.
  6. Note; Cocker tape is a rare 7-1/2 IPS. Pretty sure the rest is "standard" 3-3/4 speed
  7. And ... Santana, Welcome (When I look into your Eyes/ etc.) Joe Cocker ! (She came in through the Bathroom Window)
  8. And more ... Blood Sweat & Tears, Original (God Bless the Child / etc.). BS&T 3 (Hi-De-Ho), BS&T 4 (High on a Mountain), and BS&T Greatest Hits (And when I Die)
  9. OK; tapes are 7 inch, 4-track. Included: Chicago - Original (In the Country / Fancy Colors / etc.) Chicago Transit Authority, Volume 1 (Does Anybody Really Know) Chicago Transit Authority, Volume 2 (I'm a Man) Chicago at Carnegie Hall, Vols I & II (It better End soon) Chicago III (Sing a mean Tune Kid) Chicago V (Saturday in the Park) Chicago VI (Feeling Stronger Every Day) more to list shortly
  10. Well; in case you missed it ... shipped my Teac X-1000R R2R and UPS destroyed it (and of course no refund). Also shipped a box of tapes. So; trying to recoup some of my losses Thirteen (13) prerecorded 7 inch tapes in their boxes. Chicago Transit Authority/Chicago (7x), Blood Sweat & Tears (4x), Santana (1x) and Joe Cocker (1x). Will add titles to this as soon as I get them "back" (later today). These tapes normally sell for $15-$35 on FleaBay. Haha, will do them for $130 (i.e. $10 each - but not interested in selling them "one by one." PayPal is fine. Estimate shipping at about $20 - will bill you for this after I ship them. Bought these tapes after I got a couple of R2R's - played maybe 2 of them; never listened to the rest Note; also have 10 inch tapes, 5 with metal reels. And a set of new hubs (don't know if they can be used on non-Teac machines). Will post these later
  11. Hey ... what do you expect ... sure they are trying to steal more stuff

    What I Got Today!

Finished the X-wing fighter First hour was fun, then it became a pain in the a$$ as there are 4 wings that are almost identical - but the instructions do just one by one by one by one. Too much repetition for me (at least I did the last 2 wings simultaneously). Haha; could never do the Titanic with TWENTY TIMES the pieces Actually, think Lego's were more fun 50 years ago when one had to use their imagination to come up with designs
  14. And another GREAT deal by @dtr20 Paid $900 for a pair of these Normal eBay price is about $500 EACH.
  15. This is an absolute "steal." I am using two of these as L/R for TV sound and very pleased with them (they replaced Heresy's and IMO they sound better). Plus I paid about $900 (for the pair) Someone better JUMP on this
  16. Yeah; tried a setup with Heresy's up front, tower surrounds and CW's in the back. Room is only 16' wide and the tower horns absolutely were "too much." Switched to dual RC-7's up front and RB-75's in the rear - and "forgot" about side speakers - note; this my TV sound system only So; unless you have a VERY WIDE room, I do not believe it is recommended.

    What I Got Today!

Haha; intrigued. Haven't played with Lego's for 50+ years So; bought Luke Skywalker's X-wing fighter - only 474 pieces vs the 9090 on the Titanic
  18. FYI. Actually, I asked a moderator to step in as the previous thread started having inappropriate personal insults Thread was removed within minutes.

    ...

In my opinion, one of the best (home) speakers ever made by Klipsch
  20. Yeah; seller just wants money ... and does not even want to provide Klipsch with a copy And; $113 to ship a $20 Express envelope? Question ... if "you" had these, would it not be the honorable thing to do to give these to the Klipsch museum? Ad-on ... send the seller a note to donate them to the Klipsch museum. Haha; maybe if enough of us do he will "rethink" it and do the right thing
  21. Awesome One slight correction ... he did NOT invent binary counting; mostly accredited to Leibniz (circa 1700), but (quote from Wikepedia) "we owe the groundwork of today's computing (edit i.e. binary) not to Leibniz but to the Englishman Thomas Harriot and the Spaniard Juan Caramuel de Lobkowitz (1606-1682), whom Leibniz plagiarized." Williams constructed the first electronic binary counteR - a really amazing feat.
  22. Haha; yes have the M2A ... In my opinion one of the most underrated amps, especially when used with their C2 pre-amp
  23. Yamaha CR series (620/810/820/1010/1020/etc.). Yamaha M series (M45/M60/80/etc.). Kenwood Basic M2A (available pretty cheap and 220wpc). Most Marantz vintage amps. And if you want power, Crown K1/K2. Owned them all, dead quit and had no problems
