I'm using a kg 2.5 between a pair of kg 4's, sounds good to me.

I'm using 3 Heresy 1's up front with KG 3's as rears, sounds good to my ears. I was using a pair of KG 1's as rears but I found the KG 3's for $35 for the pair in the local pennysaver! Walnut finish to boot in pristine condition - the guy didn't know what he had, his wife just wanted those ugly boxes out of her living room. I almost gave him $50 because I felt bad for the guy.

seti - what problem did you have with hotglassaudio? I live in western PA near their shop and I have a Scott 222-c that needs a going over - but maybe I should aviod them?

I'm using 4 Baldwin 12AX7's in my Scott 222-C, I believe if the writing is green like mine then they would be Sylvania, otherwise RCA.

I've come across an old Scott receiver that has RCA jacks for the 'B' speakers. The 'A' speaker connection are the normal + and - for each speaker cable. The 'B' has only L and R jacks for 1 pair of speakers. Is it OK to connect the + and - from the speaker cable a regular RCA plug? I would think this would cause a problem as the pos and neg come in contact. Is there anyway to to this? Thanks in advance

Up until a few months ago I was using KG1's as surrounds with 3 Heresy's up front. I now have 5 Heresy's and the difference is amazing, my advice is to get 2 more Hersey's - you will not regret it.

Pete, if you do not find a local buyer and do not mind shipping these, I would be interested. I live just outside Pittsburgh. I have been looking for a stands for my Heresy surrounds and these look like they would work nicely.

Ok - I've got my choices narrowed down to 5 subs - any help would be appreciated in pointing me in the right direction. I'm running a Denon 1802 with 5 Heresy's - current sub is a Acoustic Research 12" POS. This setup is just ok now - nothing a good sub could not fix. I listen to 70%-30% music to movies. Room size is 25x16. The 5 choices are (cost includes shipping): Hsu stf-2 364.00

Damn, I live 15 minutes from this guy - I just don't have the room for these beasts. My 5 heresy setup will just have to do.

Thanks for the heads up, I've been looking for a single heresy for a while. This was a decent price, it is missing the inspection tag but that's not a problem with me. Now I've got 3 Heresy's up front and KG1's as surrounds!

Thanks for all the info, looks like an Academy will be a tough find, probably will go for a c7 - maybe. Another Heresy is still an option if I can find just 1, and make room for it. How do a find the single heresy for sale on this site, I can't seem to locate it?

I have a pair of Heresy's as my mains (purchased new in 1979)and I am currently using a cheap Cerwin Vega center, needless to say it sounds terrible. I have read that the best match would be another Heresy, however, space is an issue. What is my next option, a rc-3 or a klf-c7, or sc-1? Any suggestions would be appreciated.
