  1. I have an issue with my right ear bud crashing. I get the same gut wrenching sound when your PC crashes. The right ear bud is constantly disconnecting from my phone. So frustrated submitted for a refund.
  2. Thank you for the info. I remember back in the 90's i was always trying to keep the cables the same length for each speaker. Probably some article i read somewhere.
  3. In your home theater system, how important is symmetry in the cable length to each speaker?
  4. I've run it a couple of times already. At this point, I'm still using my old fronts and surrounds. My RP-280FA's won't be here until tomorrow. So, once I get all of my new speakers I will re-run YPAO.
  5. I'm having another issue with my 3070. I have set up the speaker calibration with the YPAO and after the measurements, the sound isn't very loud. I literary have to crank the volume way up almost max before it gets loud. It must have something to do with the room size?
  6. Bahahaha I just received my R115 SW. This thing is a beast.
  7. I'm definitely going to hook up the elevation speakers to the front and rear presence inputs. And I will have to check out the surround backs or surround sides and placement of the rear speakers. My wife is already pissed, I've spent a small fortune and I'm rearranging the living room. .
  8. Allegedly it has something to do with to handoffs and HDMI. I need to program delays into my Harmony remote when starting the AVR and the TV. I haven't been able to set the delays correctly with my remote control. Still working on this. My four RP-280FAS and my 15" sub will be arriving today. I already have my center channel. Cant wait, i'll have to figure out how i want to connect my speaker's. There seems to be a few options on the 3070.
  9. Thank you, Sir. I will head over and do some investigating.
  10. bkevind, Let me know if you experience this with your 3070. Sometimes when I turn it on the receiver, no sound comes out of the speakers. Then you will see an on-screen display pops up and says "switching audio to external speakers" And then I have sound. It's like the amp is shut off internally or something. It doesn't happen all the time. I'm using a Logitech Harmony remote to turn on all of my equipment and to do the switching to the correct inputs and outputs. When the sound doesn't come on I will just shut everything off and start over. That usually fixes the problem and when you will see the onscreen display says switching audio to external speakers. Has anyone else experienced this issue or know how to fix it without having to reboot the unit?
  11. I won't have 11 speakers anyway. I have 4 RP-280FAs with 4 elevations speakers built into the FA's, 1 center channel and 1 sub. I can still add another sub if I wanted. But like you said, if I want the full 11.2 ATMOS, I will need an external amp and more speakers.
  12. So i just purchased 4 RP-280FAs, 1 RP-450CA and 1 R-115SW. I should be good to go.
  13. Thank you bekevind, I will check out @MetropolisLakeOutfitters.
  14. Thanks for all of the information. I'm really a fan of the SVS speakers. Doesn't the 3070 put out enough power for the RP280FA? Why the external amp?
  15. I was wondering where I would find a price for this system? http://www.klipsch.com/products/reference-premiere-dolby-atmos-home-theater-systems?model=rp-280-5-1-4-dolby-atmos I will probably purchase this one and will have to add additional speakers to create the Atmos system above. http://www.klipsch.com/products/home-theater-systems-reference-premiere?model=rp-280 I have seen this system at Crutchfield for less than at Amazon.
