  1. That's all I did. The 128013 were very sharp for live work. They are not as warm as my 250s but now there clean and clear and balanced enough to perform with. Hope that helps. I think that a crossover change would be the trick to get the 250s sound but there pricey for sure.
  2. I found a pair of k53 locally for a good price. speakers now crystal clear Thanks. PS I now have a pair of k128013s if anyone needs them. new diaphragms in both.
  3. I have a pair of kp250s and they have warm tones for vocals and instruments and I have a pair of kp 250 ii and they are so sharp they cut your ears. Is there anything that can be done to the 250 ii to make them more like the earlier 250s? Thanks Michael C
  4. Thanks I'll give it a try. Used a new power board last time, could be to much for the old girls. cantrelhm
  5. I play a pair of KP 250 ii and have for years. Recently at a gig both speakers became real bassy. I have an older pair of kp 250 and sound great so the board is not the problem. I replaced the 33 uf caps on the crossovers but to no avail. There doesn't seem to be any damage to the woofers. I'm kinda at a loss. Anyone experence anything like this or have any suggestions. Thanks cantrelhm
