  1. I already have a 4.1 system. I've had it for 2 years. 5.1 for PC's wasn't really around then. I was just asking if it was possible. You both need to cool it. See I don't want to have to dish out another $300 when the system works fine. Thanks for the attitude chumps. V
  2. Hello all, I just picked up a Sound Blaster Live 5.1 card and was wondering if there is a way to add a center channel to my 4.1 system? I know that the 4.1 only provides power for 4 speakers, I'm curios if there is a way to add another amped channel. Thanks for any input. V
  3. Hi all, I recently moved and sold my in-ceiling rear channel IW-250's to the buyers. Repairing those giant holes would have been a huge pain. So now I'm trying to figure out what to use as the ideal match to my Epic series fronts (CF-3's and KV-4). I would like to go with a pair of CF2's but my new place won't allow such a setup. Something wall mountable or in-wall would be cool. I like that cleaner look. What would some suggestions from the forum? Cheers, V
  4. Hey all. I just moved and had to leave my IW-250 at my old house. So now I need to figure out what to do for new rear channels. I'm only running 5.1. My current setup is: CF-3 fronts KV-4 center PW-2200 sub Any suggestions on a good match for the rears? I'd love to get a pair of CF-1's but I don't have the room. Thanks V
  5. I have a PW-2200. While watch AP Now the hanging clock on my living room wall well off (the scene where Arclight is bombing). The glass face broke, broke some of the wood apart. I've glued it all back up and got a new glass face. Plus I put a larger screw into the wall. V
  6. What about a Paradigm Servo 15? They are fast subs. Plus they are only $1500. TheEAR, were does that sub fit in with the SVS's? V
  7. TheEAR, I have a server and dedicated broadband connection. Maybe we should start a sub forum! V
  8. Try partsexpress.com http://www.partsexpress.com/webpage.cfm?&DID=7&WebPage_ID=21 V
  9. Here our country is, trying to climb out of a recession. The DJI is under 8K and you guys wanna send the money over the pond. I don't think that a car being made in Ohio makes it American, but thats my opinion. American hands may have touched it, but that's not were the money goes in the end. Where the buck lands is where it's made. German cars will outperform Japanese at any time. The only cars that come close are NSX and the new 350Z. The M5 is THE fastest four door around. Hands down. I do like the Audi cars. The A4 is very nice. 300M..... oh yeah! V
  10. Buy American! You can only get a Bose stereo.... ugh. I have a friend who has an Audi with Bose. He has had to completly pull out all the old stereo wiring to put in a different system. Bose really doesn't want you doing that. V

    BOOM!

The shotgun blast that hits Scott Glenn in the chest is great! It sounds like it's in the room. V
  12. I saw them in Chicago. What a riot! They pulled out the pipe drums, they played Spy Hunter. Then someone in the back screamed, "FREEBIRD!" What so you know, they played it. It was a great time. You never can get away from the Skynard fans. V
  13. You're fast on the replies. Thank for posting the picts. I'm attaching a pict of my home office stereo. V
  14. I would vote for a Paradigm PDR-12. Great sub for about $420. Nice bass, not real boomy. Enough to make your walls rattle. V
  15. This isn't a very good pict of the IW's, but.... Maybe I'll get a better one soon. V MAN, you're fast Justin!
  16. Hey thanks guys! Sorry, didn't mean to be confusing. My sub is on the floor behind a piece of furniture(a chair). My rear channels are in ceiling Klipsch IW-250's. I've attached a pict of those too. I do really need more storage for DVD's and CD. It's sad. Justin, I'd be happy for you to put them on your site. Thanks! V
  17. Hey thanks. Actually I'm in desperate need for more storage space. Bummer is that the towers I have I can't find anymore. So I'm thinking about building my own rack for storage. V

  20. Kruder and Dorfmeister, the Trip Hop genera fathers. The have some heavy bass! V
  21. Yep, great movie. I saw it in the theater. I'll have to try it again at home. V
  22. mOOn, Felt would work well for absorbing high frequencies. But it won't do a thing for the low stuff. Since high frequncies have such short wave lenghts, thin material like felt would absorb it. But bass has very long wave lengths, so the only thing to soak it up would be thick foam, layers of carpet, house insulation, couches, giant stuffed teddy bears etc etc. V
