  1. I am trying to replace the battery pack on my KMC1. I have followed the instructions for removing the battery (not hard : https://support.klipsch.com/hc/en-us/articles/360025255132-KMC-1-Battery-Replacement-System-Battery-Reset) and have run into a problem where the battery cable is caught behind the battery cage and is blocking the battery from coming out enough for me to unplug it. While doing more Google searches I found this document (https://dtv98j71ej9a1.cloudfront.net/Sites/Klipsch/Solutions/Klipsch+kmc1+Battery+Replacement.pdf) It has a note that is not a part of the first (and currently posted) instructions for replacing the battery. It says: "If the cable is stuck, opening the front baffle (not covered here) will be necessary to prevent damage to the wiring/connectors." I opened a ticket with Klipsch last week asking for instructions on how to remove the front baffle. I have figured out how to remove the rear baffle already. I have yet to hear back from support on how to proceed. Does anyone have these instructions they can share?
  2. Try a Harmony or other universal remote. I have my Harmony setup to work. I also have my apple remote for my appletv setup to control volume (won’t help with the buttons you need).
  3. So I've been trying to get this update to take for well over a hour. The hub updated without too much trouble (had to try it twice before it took). Now I've been trying to get the speakers' firmware updated. This has taken countless attempts. With almost each try presenting a different behavior. I finally got 5 of them done. The side right wouldn't take at all for whatever reason. I have been going on to the speaker settings and selecting Update Firmware over and over. Just now (probably my 15th try) is it doing something new. I'm stuck on Updating speakers step 1 of 2.... - it sits there for a few minutes. Then it flashes through the 6 speakers in order saying it is updating each in step 2 of 2 and then nothing. The side right speaker will not update. I'm going up for now. I will do battle again tomorrow.
  4. We are now 2+ years since Klipsch's last FW update for the RP-hub1. Their last release was released on MAY 16th 2016!!! Promises, promises....
  5. Dang. I bought my system around the same time. I have not had the same issue you describe. I'm sure one of the "promised" firmware updates from Klipsch could help. If you look at their firmware page - we are only TWO days out from it being two years since the last firmware release. I would push to get it replaced by either your reseller or Klipsch. There is obviously an issue with your RP-HUB1.
  6. Hey Klipsch HQ - I'm loving the sound of crickets from your way....
  7. Sounds to me like it is DOA. I had one of the RP-440WF's do the same to me. I had to RMA it and get it a new one. Total bummer when you have these new shiny and expensive toys to play with.
  8. ^^^Me too^^^ ALL of them... I've been a diehard Klipsch fan for years.... I cannot express my dissapointment with my purchase so far. The lack of updates, the lack of acknowledging there is a problem with their hub... I expected better from Klipsch.
  9. Revisiting this to see if anyone has any updates to 1, 2 & 3.
