I bought 2 new pairs of KEF R3 Meta speakers but only needed 3 speakers so I am selling one if anyone out there needs a single for their center channel or needs a replacement. I have opened the box but I have not opened the wrapping of the other speaker inside and I have also not taken it out of the box. I will put the grill, rubber feet and bass port plug inside for you as well. I will ship to you via UPS ground.

Interesting. This guy has been a seller for a long time and sold about ten RC-64 iii before I bought one, all with good feedback. Bad luck I guess.

I took all the feedback into consideration and gave it a lot of thought. That's what I ended up doing though. The seller agreed for a 50 percent refund. I took it to a talented friend who is pretty handy with woodwork among other things. He said he could fix it. I will post a picture of it when he is done.

It doesnt look too bad with the grill on. You notice it a bit in the day time but at night its barley visible. I do prefer the grills off though

Yeah the seller will accept a return if I choose to. Since it arrived damaged, the seller is actually obligated to.

Purchased an open box, like new condition RC-64 iii on on eBay for $1050. FedEx handled it pretty roughly as the the outside box was pretty mangled. The seller is offering a partial refund if I desire to keep it. I wish the damage was on the back of it. It is unfortunately on the front so I will have to look at it all the time. Its a pretty speaker but I feel like that's ruined now. The grill does a decent job of covering it but still noticeable. I prefer to have the grill off though. The seller is asking what I think is a fair partial refund. Honestly, I am not really sure but I am pretty picky about this and what I am thinking would probably not be fair. What would you guys say? Also I am curious if anyone has experience on fixing stuff like this on these speakers? I am curious what steps you took and materials you used?

Looking to buy a pair of used RP-502S Ebony surround speakers Location - Boise, ID

Seems like buying these open box new or used is the way to go. Any advice on where you guys hunt for these speakers is appreciated. Sure are tough to find below their MSRP. I see some on Ebay right now for 1099 each plus $500 shipping for the pair but just exploring options Location - Boise, ID

Thanks for the suggestions. What are your thoughts on moving the BICs to the rear? I have not decided what I will do with the equipment I have as it could potentially be useful for my computer room which I play games on as well.

Hi all, I am an audiophile wannabe and I am looking into upgrading my current home theater sound experience. II have had my current setup for about 4 years and I am just not 100% satisfied with it. It sounds little muddy especially on the Front right and left speakers. I wish I had done a little more research before purchased all the equipment. I need some help as it has become pretty overwhelming with all of the brands, models and price points out there. I have taking a like to Klipsch from the research I have done and I thought I would come to the experts who have a lot of experience of equipment and knowledge of how sound equipment works. I like crisp clean sound where the bass packs a house shaking punch! My Budget - $1600 Usage - Movies/Music/Video Games Speaker distances from the primary sitting spot. Front L and R - 11 ft. Center - 10.4 ft Surround L 5ft Surround R 4ft Sub 8 ft. Living Room Size - roughly 260 square feet What I currently own Front L and R - BIC DV64 Center - Polk CS10 Surround - Klipsch KB-15 Icon bookshelf Sub - BIC F12 AVR - Yamaha RX-V377 Side note - There is a pair of new R-28f speakers for $550 on craigslist in my area right now. I have my eye on those but I will wait for suggestions. The guy bought them at bestbuy on blackfriday but they are too big for his setup. He will return them tomorrow if nobody buys them.
