A Short Round 1

Thanks for the info guys! Way more reponses than I thought I would get. I thought they looked like 1's from my internet research. I had no clue for value, I had planned to offer him less. You guys are great!

I have found a pair of Forte for $550. "Nice shape. Couple of scuffs on cabinet.Sound great." is the only comment. Newbie to forum, and utter novice to values and such. It seems like a good deal. I will audition them before purchase. Any comments would be appreciated.

I just got a pair of R-26FA's for Christmas. Each Speaker needs 4 wires. Red/Black front on lower terminals, and Red/Black on (Extra SP1) F. Presence / Zone 2 (as labeled from your Yamaha RX-V683 manual on line. I bought some banana plugs at Best Buy and put them on either end of the speaker wires. You have to remove the little plug on speaker to use them. It makes disconnecting either end much quicker.
