I have an inexpensive Klipsch sub Reference R-10SW and a Parasound P5 Halo Preamp. The preamp has rca's for there crossover and also an independent volume dial for the sub. I also can turn off the crossover on the preamp. I realize this question is relative to my other equipment and room size, I will say I have a terrible room with a vaulted ceiling. I use the sub only for 2ch stereo No surround sound. What would be the best way to start in settings.
