I don't even want to talk about hearing loss. Lost mine in a firefight in Nam. My buddy hit an auction one day and got a hearing aid in a $1.00 box of stuff then presented it to me. Ha! I took it to a local lady who sold it to the old guy and she said the previous owner never used them. Then asked if I got both, which I didn't. I wanna get serious @ a concert I just plug it in. hahaha... Sucks, but not much I can do now. Why do I now have a visual of my daughters having an auction and putting it in a $1 box of junk??? 😂

Perfect time to add credibility to your purchase by cranking out a "certificate of authenticity" with the model number on it for him to sign. Everyone knows what a great lil speaker they are. Have him sign it and collect all of the background you can on him. I would. Some things like that mean nothing but to others it would be a nice touch! About 30 years ago I went to a Cleveland Indians game where they honored the former players. Those selected were driven onto the field in cars from their "time." I went w/a former player I knew well and his wife. He got an invite to ride so afterwards they all came up to sit with us. I took a ball to have signed but didn't know them but knew their names. Jake told me the one I really should get was this old guy a couple rows in front of us so I asked this woman he was with if she'd ask him and gave her the ball. He turned around and told me he'd be "honored" to sign my ball. Signed it and passed it back to me. I looked at the signature and it was one of the greatest players to ever play for Cleveland. He's passed now but that's a story I'll never forget. How humble he was. Yea, honored to sign my ball. I looked at Jake and he said to look out in right field and find his jersey... Mel Harder. Just Google him for giggles!

I have a pair of 81's I picked up and they sound great. You might need a new network for them either now or down the road but if they sound good use them. Great speakers that have been around for a long time. They'll play!!!

Totally agree but a deaf man could have done better! I think it was the last show on the tour and everyone had the "let's go home" attitude. It sucked big-time! I'd gone to MANY shows there and none EVER sounded like this one. NASTY!

It had to be in the late 70's or early 80's at some point. Richfield Coliseum near Cleveland which is now long gone. Lemme dive on my pile of ticket stubs... Maybe there's a stub... Oooopsie, wrong! Such a great group... Got some nice seats in Cleveland for I'm thinking the last stop on the tour... Worst show EVER sound-wise. Tin cans and string would have sounded better. Every thing they had running was garbage... Ugh... Actually left early it was that bad.

@Chad Is as close as I can get to anyone and I've never met or chatted with him BUT I do know he surfaces for air at times. Perhaps we'll get lucky NieceeAR! He's kinda like Colonel Flagg on M.A.S.H., blowing in when you least expect it and exiting the same way!

Yes Sir, I've been productive today! Slipped a nice Angus Sirloin on the grill earlier... Pulled it right on time then cut it in small bites for this next batch of chili I'm cranking out... Sooooooo @oldtimer, I've got a question. The last thing I put into the crock pot was your hot sauce... Yup, shook it all up then hit it w/a couple healthy shots just like normal I'm thunkin. Never touched anything but was looking down in the pot and all of a sudden outta no-where the concoction let out this big burp of air surfacing! Will this be anything like playing Beatles albums backwards??? If so please tell me now! Thanks! 😎
