  1. My setup. IMO black look the best. And actually I do like the look of the ii’s better than the iii’s. As I rock my speakers without the grills, I like to see the grain on the front. Nice touch.
  2. I have the same speaker setup, with a Denon X6400H, I looked into the 7200 as well. Both top of the line Denons no doubt. I love mine. What the selling point for me was it did all new audio formats out of the box. I also got the receiver on a sale $1649. Denon is solid. You won’t be disapointed. Let me know if you setup Dolby atmos. I still have yet to set mine up. Need more money to buy my surround/ceiling speakers.

I was really impressed with the packaging and shape of the product. Mine was in E condition and it looks brand new. Also, contacted Klipsch and they informed me the speaker was made in 2017. So it’s new. Great price, great service, great packaging. Just be sure to call in to order to haggle with lowest price.
  4. Anybody heard the JBL Sythensis / Harmon Kardon Citation 5.4 subwoofer? Found a pair for $500 in ATL. Good match for the RF-7ii’s?
  5. I placed them close to the walls. 3-5 inched off. Sounds best to my ears. Great bass response. Gives those towers a real depth. Love the RF-7ii’s!!
  6. You willing to part with it?
  7. How far off the Wall is best for bass response in my RF-7ii’s?
  8. The RP-150’s May be a better match.
  9. Everybody will give you their opinion. Mine is go with Denon. I recently bought the 6400 for $1649, you should be able to get the 6300 or 4400 st a discount. Great for HT. Get the Reciver that fits YOUR needs. Best of luck. Also, I should mention I have a pair of RF-7ii’s and RC-64ii. Denon makes em sound great.
  10. RC-52 over 250. Or get RP-450C. If not that step up to RC-62/64. Check Adorama.
  11. Looking for two subwoofers. I’d like to keep the price below $1000 for both subwoofers. Klipsch R115, Klipsch R112, and I’ve also heard great things about SVS too. Used equipment welcome.

@Youthman do you think if I disconnect sub, the low freq will be diverted to my RF-7’s? Whats removing the sub accomplish? (Besides the flap)
  13. Figured it out. Use Tapatalk like your going to post, then copy link over to Forum. Works great. Thanks @dtr20

    RC-64II

RC-64II is up and running. Impressed with Adorama’s and it’s packaging. Came double boxed with original box inside. Even original manual with tilt rod/feet. Ran Audyssey and sounds great, def a match with RF-7II’s. Here’s a quick question, I have a old 8” sub connected for my .1 but it flaps instead of punches. Wonder if it’s just better to run my setup without the sub? Any opinions would be appreciated. @wvu80, @Youthman, @MetropolisLakeOutfitters
  15. I sent him those in a link. I’m not versed with all the upgrades and what them mean. Do they add value and are well known must have upgrades? Or is it smoke’n mirrors?
  16. I’m new to Heresys. What’s the prefered series? Logic says newer is better, but that’s not always the case with speakers.
  17. Just figured the iii’s were best
  18. Hahahaha, going to get some nice old school vinyl listening speakers. For a co-worker. 😎👍🏼
  19. I’m in need of a pair of Walnut or Cherry Heresy II or Heresy III speakers.
  20. I’m thinking the R-5650-S II’s or the R-5502-W II’s. The 5650’s are a surround speaker, and the 5502 is a multi functional. May just do the surrounds. These will be used for surround backs.
