Can only say that I’ve not experienced any static from mine. Use them with both USB from my laptop and BT from my IPhone. Probably have a couple hundred hours on them and use as both near and mid field speakers. These are my first and only quality powered speakers. They can get a bit ‘boomy’ with certain EDM sources.  Great, tight bass and crystal highs if the source is higher quality. No complaints or regrets.

    Thank you for the confirmation!
I have been eyeballing the Kef LS50Wireless as another option but since their fail rate seems unusually high i might steer more into The Sixes again!

  2. Can anyone chime in on the static noise issues i see mentioned from time to time? Was it just a problem with the early firmware or bad sources?

I have a pair of LSR305 that im looking to replace soon and the sixes seems like a good enough fit but its a pass if it has any static noise since it will be nearfield 🙄

  3. Hi,

A friend of mine bought the Heritage headphone amp last week and it has been working good with the unbalanced output - still does.

He ordered a balanced XLR-4 asap and when he got the adapter it crams out all kind of distorsion, the distorsion seems to follow along with the volume, sounds like when you try to raise the volume on an old amp with a really dirty volume pot but the noise never goes away.
We have tested different headphones and i have measured the balanced cable which seems OK also.. Pin 2 and 4 negative, 1 and 3 positive.

Could it be that one of the 2 amps are broken since it utilizes 2 amps in balanced mode and only 1 in unbalanced? Anyone else had similar issue?

  4. You have the RP-15PM i assume? Not 150M?
According to google ppl say that it has this function but I tried looking in the manual and on the Klipsch homepage and i couldn't find anything about the Auto standby function being mentioned - which i find kinda strange..

I completely get that :) I would buy one closer to where i live if i could just find one! (I live on Aland Islands, we speak Swedish but belongs to Finland) closest ive found would be from Germany so unless i find one soon ill probably go for a new one from there.

Dang...all the way to Germany...is still a long way ! I have an idea.  How much would it cost to send a 45" x  18 x 18 box weighing 100 lbs to you from TEXAS 77429 to you ?  ($175 USD maybe).  Find out the price; ...I can get speakers close to whole sale price, new !  *How about a set of RF-7 iii's for $2500 USD ?  *Find how much that cost would be...

    A 30kg (66lb) package will runt for about 250-500USD to sweden :P

    TOO risky...and i have a buyer , demoing tomorrow morning !

Obviously, much easier to have a person arrive here and walk away with item.

I'd hate to see what condition this HUGE speaker would end up in, ... traveling from Texas to Europe.

First off...shipping would be ridiculous, ...possibly a $300 cost.

By the way, where in Europe are you ? (My wife is 100% DUTCH)
