Wise man.... Trust me, per 2 Klipsch employees, the magnets are different as I mentioned above, just swap the diaphragm / phase plug assemblies.

WTB "Klipsch" grille logo/emblem for Epic line (CF4)
crunchman12001 replied to Micklipsch's topic in Garage Sale
The badge for the CF / Epic line is the same for the KLF / Legend line. The badge looks like this as OEM from the factory. I have found all mine on Ebay. -

Agree on using the Lacquer thinner to remove the finish prior to sanding. I use 00 steel wool and Lacquer thinner every time. The veneer is very thin and easy to sand through.
-
Congrats. Glad someone here bought them.

As others have said, easy 5 minute fix with the hose of a vacuum.

Upgrade YES, flip to double your money, YES. BUY them. If they were close to me, I would have bought them already.

If I still had my CF-3's, I would buy it just for a spare. Very rare.

Not mine. Very rare tweeter driver for CF-3 and CF-4. Driver only, no horn. https://www.ebay.com/itm/224170330910?ul_noapp=true

Welcome to the group. You are going to need to list price and location for the KLF-30's. Also, you will need to post pics for condition when you are able.

Replacement Midrange Horn (no compression driver) KLF20 / 30
crunchman12001 replied to DEP14's topic in Garage Sale
Shout out to Dep14 for seeing my post wanting to buy a KLF-30 horn. Great seller, fair price, fast shipping. Highly recommend Dep14! Post "edit" for clarity. I bought the horn from Dep14, he saw my WTB post and messaged me. Stand up guy, good seller. -
-
All finished. The epoxy on the broken horns is holding well for now. Here are a few pics with new paint, Crites crossovers, Titanium diaphragms and new grill fabric.

CF-3's > Black > $450> Ellington, Connecticut

I was thinking the same thing with the woofer. The pair I had, the guy told me the woofer sounded blown, the dust cap came loose and rattled. Even if the one woofer is blown, you could make close to $1000 just parting them out since the parts are so rare.
