I sent a message within an hour of them getting posted on CL, I never heard back.
I would send another message. She replied back to me within the hour. I think ZEUS121996 messaged her as well.

Thanks for the heads up lakedmb.
I spoke with this seller and showed him what an OEM Academy badge looked like. He made/named these for the Academy but they are not the same.
I tried to post the pic from my original link above but the file was too large.
Thanks again.

Did you think to ask what a minimum batch size would be for them to whip some out?
No, I did not... I was looking for a couple only. The guy sounded like it was a dead line as far as he was concerned.

I messaged the lady, said she does not know if they work or not. Great deal for parts or refurb project.

Here is what I got from Eminence. They made the K-1036-E as a copy of the K-1036-K for Klipsch.

Yeah; contacted seller ... do not need anymore speakers, but they look pretty nice
They look nice in white. Good price.

White is not listed as a "standard" color. Possibly custom or DIY?

Totally agree, and reach out to Ebay. ..I would.
1 (866) 540-3229Thanks for the link. I reported the seller directly to Ebay via a phone call and I also reported the listing on Ebay. Ebay said it is a clear violation of the selling rules.
I buy Klipsch items / parts all the time on Ebay. I have been burned a few times with inaccurate pics in the listing but I always got a full refund or a substantial discount if the item was not represented correctly with the actual photos. Gotta be careful out there.

@Youthman used to have his pictures hijacked. He took great pictures, and we, on this forum, would find them on the Bay and on the List. Be happy, it's like a guy taking a second glance at your lady: Stay calm, it's really a compliment.
I know, in a round about way it is a compliment but I think he is trying to pull one over on a potential buyer. Do his speakers even come with grills since he posted pics of mine?
Just warning my fellow Klipschsters.

The listing has been removed by the seller. All good now but watch this guy in the future if you buy from him.
His Ebay ID is: akuhl101
His brick and mortar store is: Recycle My Machine located in Los Angeles, California.

ok , so the serial numbers on the ebay listing dont match -------------and they copied a couple of your pictures -----------
Correct, he copied the first pic with the grill on. I posted the second pic to show another shot of the rug.
I am just warning guys here, the seller is not representing his speakers with actual pictures of his speakers. Also, the seller did not ask me for permission to use my image.
Listing items for sale on Ebay with a description that reads "Only includes what is shown in pictures- no additional accessories included." while using someone else's pictures is a clear violation of Ebay policy and subject to discipline.

but what if these are the same speakers you sold ---------------
They are not.
I have pics and records of all the serial numbers for the speakers I sell.

Buyers beware in Los Angeles, California.
This guy stole my picture of the front of a pair of KLF-20's I had previously sold.
I reported him to Ebay and also contacted him.
Here is my image and also a link to his listing.

How do I work this?
This is not my beautiful forum.
When I joined on Sat, it said my msg would have to be approved b4 it posted. It still seems to be the only 1 shaded in pink. It also shows a reply to my request for spkr grills, but can't open it.
I got an email that said my acct was good to go, but..?
At least 1 good thing...
I haven't been called 'newbie' in a while.
Hi H.C.SPILK,
