  1. The "regular" version of the Heritage Jubilee (with walnut or black ash finish) has been available since production started last year. I've had my walnut pair for about a year. I assume that I am the Forum member to which you are referring. Mine are not Anniversary edition. As far as sales figures, I couldn't say. I've seen probably somewhere around ten other pairs posted to the various Klipsch Facebook groups. Don't know how representative a sample that is of the total.
  2. I don't understand why you don't just buy a pair of Heritage Jubilee if you are willing to spend that kind of money. You admit they sound better than your speakers. There would be no advantage to having a 3-way Heritage Jubilee. Yes, the K-510 in a 3-way would prevent some HF beaming without Roy's phase plug. However, Roy's wide dispersion phase plug was designed to accomplish the same thing and is very effective at doing so. (In any case, this only helps for off-axis listening anyway.) And a 3-way configuration gives up the almost point-source dispersion that the 2-way configuration has. I have watched movies in my 5.0 Jubilee setup. There is no problem at all with dialog intelligently with the Heritage Jubilee. The Jubilee also had no problems like that in the much larger Klipsch lab listening room.
  3. How did you go about programming the Xilica for use with the Axi2050/K-402? How did you determine the PEQs and crossover settings? Did you measure any of these setups and if so, where (1m on axis of the K402, listening position, something else)? Did I read it correctly that you used the passive crossovers with Axi2050 in some tests? I can't imagine you would get anything like the correct response out of the 2050 with any of the existing crossovers. As I mentioned before, I'm one of the few people on the planet fortunate enough to have heard both the Heritage Jubilee and the 2-way Underground Jubilee in same room. I also own a pair of Heritage Jubilee and have used the Axi2050 on a center speaker for the Jubilee (a mod that can no longer be discussed here). It took me a while with a number of iterations working with Chris A directly to get the correct measured response on the center speaker. Your experience is the opposite of mine. Both my Heritage Jubilee and the center speaker measure flat through the mids and highs at 1m and at the listening position and sound that way when listening.
  4. I'd suggest going to a hardware store and getting an M6 machine screw that's at least 40 mm long. Screw that into the hole, measure how much is sticking out, and subtract that from the screw length to get how much length you need for just the driver. Then use the same bolt to determine how much length you'll need with the horn, bracket, and nuts. If I were home, I'd try to estimate the later for you on my Jubilee. Unfortunately, I'm about 6 hours away from home.
  5. You will need M6 threaded studs similar to these: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07RB8ZJZ4/. What length you will need with depend on the horn/bracket you use. You will need terminal connectors like these: https://www.parts-express.com/1-4-22-18-Nylon-Female-Disconnect-50-Pcs.-095-300. This crimping tool that someone recommend to me is great for these: https://www.parts-express.com/Ratcheting-Crimp-Tool-For-Insulated-Terminals-360-642.
  6. If you removed the Belle Klipsch riser and maybe the spacer between the bass bin and the top section, it would probably just make it. If you decide you want to try that, I have taken a Belle apart before. So, I can answer questions about what to expect. Other speakers to consider as centers are a few from the cinema line. Thers is the KI-396-SMA-II model with the horn rotated for horizontal use, the KI-398-RGL which is horizontal, or the 3-way KI-362-SMA-II which has rotating horns for either orientation. I know of several people who have used the KI-396-SMA-II model with the horn rotated as centers for their Underground Jubilee setups.
  7. I wouldn't go with anything below a Belle Klipsch for the center, a third La Scala would be ideal. Having a center with direct radiator bass is going to have much more bass IM distortion than one with horn-loaded bass. Also, the smaller mid-horn would be less dynamic. For the surrounds, you could likely get away with the smaller Heritage speakers. However, going with fully horn-loaded at all channels would be best, maybe with a horn sub to fill in the bottom end.
  8. Here's the ".5" series brochure for completeness. Brochure_940700_Kg_point_5_series_635164772843956000.pdf
  9. Spec sheets attached for the kg3 and the KG ".2" series full line. I hope this helps. KG-3-Spec-Sheet.pdf Brochure_920500_Kg_point_2_series_635164772691700000.pdf
  10. I can't believe I almost forgot. Today is what I consider my first Jubiversary. One year ago today, the piano movers transported them from the garage to my living room, we cranked them up for the first time with Dark Side of the Moon (the piano movers request) and sonically nothing in my home was the same again. I've learned a lot about getting the best sound out of these over the past year and haven't once regretted my decision to purchase them. Thank you to Paul Klipsch and @Chief bonehead for creating and evolving the best speakers I've ever heard.
  11. Yes, I have an Axi2050 on a horn that is slightly larger than a K-510. However, I have a steel bracket between the horn and driver supporting the weight. Regardless, the Axi2050 is not an appropriate "drop in" replacement for the K-691 if using the existing passive crossover.
  12. Are you looking for a driver that can replace the K-691 while using the existing crossover?
  13. I've never heard the 3-way cinema configuration of the UG Jubilee. However, I was lucky enough to hear the 2-way UG Jubilee and the Heritage Jubilee in the same room. This was in the Klipsch lab listening room in Hope. The Jubilees were setup by Roy himself. My experience of the HF performance difference between them does not match with your experience. In fact, it's the opposite. During that mono side by side, I thought the Heritage Jubilee had much better high-end extension and clarity than the 2-way UG Jubilee. The same HF performance is what I experience with the Heritage Jubilee in my living room too. I even measured the response at 1m on axis of the K-402 and at the listening position in my room. The HF response is almost ruler flat out past 20 KHz. I'm wondering if something was amiss in the Heritage Jubilee setup that you heard.
  14. Klipsch stopped putting response graphs on brochures when the KG ".2" series was released.
  15. The correct answer will depend on the type of finish. The pictures look like an oiled finish. However, you can verify this from the serial number tags on the back. Attached is a document I put together that may help. Care of Klipsch Speaker Finishes v3.pdf
  16. A custom DSP just for the Jubilee. Roy did not mention who was manufacturing the units at the last JubFest.
  17. The Celestion Axi2050 will work with any 2" throat horn. However, it will not work with the KI-396 passive crossover as the driver requires significant EQ for flat response. It's also physically deeper. You should check to see if it will fit in the cabinet.
  18. Mine was slightly elevated in a piece of "home theater" furniture purchased in the days when I thought I'd probably never have a bigger TV than the monstrously heavy 37" CRT TV we had in this. 🙂 Here's a picture with the KLF-30s. (The books under the TV in the picture were there to keep the cat from getting behind the TV by squeezing in at the corners.)
  19. I used a Heresy II as a center with first original Forte and later KLF-30. The Heresy III should work very well. Getting the Heresy horn height as close to the ones on the Forte would be a good idea, although in my setup I couldn't do that and it was fine.
  20. I would like to get more information on this. I don't have any issue with my pair of P-39F at the moment. However, I might be interested in getting a spare woofer or two just in case.
  21. The key to distinguishing the original kg series speakers from the Heritage or Forte Family (Forte, Chorus, Quartet) ones is the width of the veneer band around the grill. On the original kg series the band was a smidge over 1/4" (except the kg2 which didn't have a veneer band). The band on the Heritage or Forte Family speakers was about double that width. So, because of this and as others have corroborated, the speakers in the original post are kg4.

    KSB-S1

I did a legacy products search on klipsch.com last night and nothing showed up. That's why I asked. Did it again just now and there it is. I must have make a typo in my search last night.

    KSB-S1

Is KSB-S1 an actual Klipsch model? Did you mean KSB-1.1? If so, there are some available for sale. https://www.hifishark.com/search?q=klipsch+KSB-1.1
  24. A third KI-396-SMA-II would be the ideal center. If you can't fit one vertically, there is (or at least was) a horizontal version made for horizontal center channel use. I know that @Paducah Home Theater has sold some. Contact them to see if this is still available. (Picture courtesy of Cory Harrison from a Klipsch Owners Facebook group post of his.)
  25. Oooooo... The one finish of P-312W that I don't have... Why couldn't it be closer?
