  1. Same issue here. I have been a long time Klipsch customer. Every speaker in my home is Klipsch. These M40s weren't cheap, but like others the noise cancelling stopped working early on, the volume button is taped down so I can have sound. Now the torn ear cups and resulting decimation of the foam have made them useless. I have put up with a lot, yeah they sound great, but this is a lot of money for what amounts to junk otherwise. I too had a rude customer service experience when I called about the ear cups. I called about PURCHASING replacement cups. I was told I should have contacted customer service about this while they were in warranty and before they stopped making the headphones. The fact that the ear cups didn't fail while under warranty didn't matter to the customer no service rep, it was my fault. She continued on with the rudeness and told me my only solution was to buy the new model. I told her that wasn't my only solution, I have many that don't include a Klipsch product. As a result I will never buy another Klipsch product. I don't need to be treated horribly after giving Klipsch my hard earned money.
