  1. We are moving at the moment. I believe the plans are in a box at my storage. I’ll check tomorrow. I just measured the width and depth at the bottom of each speaker. For height and router measurements I measured the risers on my Chorus’, took a percentage of the total speaker height and scaled that to the height of the Forte. I’ll try to get you the numbers.
  2. Thank you. I have Chorus IIs also. They are my favorite of my 6 pair of Klipsch speakers.
  3. I have no idea if this will interest or help anyone at all but....I bought a set of Forte IIs from another forum member in Fort Worth. They are great speakers with Crites upgrades but they were missing the risers. I searched everywhere for a set of risers for about a month with no luck and then decided to have a set built. I found a local cabinet maker in Little Rock. I took him precise measurements and many photos. They are made from solid walnut. My Fortes are Walnut Oiled. The wood was $50 and he charged $105 for labor, 3 hours at $35 per hour. I painted the black and stained and oiled the wood myself. I used Rust-oleum Cognac Wood Stain to match the color. The pictures show the results which I am very happy with. Just some info in case anyone ends up in the same position searching for risers. Not nearly as cheap as I found some other model risers for sale on eBay but an alternative none the less. Also, being solid walnut, I believe they will outlast the speakers and they don't seem to be nearly as delicate as the veneer.
  4. It's a bit difficult to tell from the photos but, are the lights original incandescent or LEDs? Thank you.
  5. Yes sir. I paid $100 for them on eBay and they are in really nice condition. A couple of minor issues with the veneer that you can't even notice from a few feet away and they are mechanically perfect. Unfortunately, with eBay, I had to pay $60 shipping. If it is 400 miles, you could probably get those shipped cheaper unless you were needing to go that way anyway. Crite's website is a little primitive but I believe it lists everything available. critesspeakers.com. You can also call him at 479-967-1542. I do agree with what Emile said too because it has happened to me. If you fall in love with Klipsch, you may end up on a journey of bigger and better. I have four sets now. It's not a bad thing though. Great luck to you! -Rick
  6. There is also Decibel Sound Meter Pro for iPhone. 4.6 out of 5 out of over 4,000 ratings.
  7. I agree with Emile about the vintage receivers. I'm driving my Chorus IIs with a 1977 Pioneer SX-1050 and the sound is wonderful on everything from very quiet easy listening all the way up to AC/DC blowing you out of the room.
  8. Hey Thomas, If you haven't done it yet, I would definitely pick those up. I just bought a pair of KG 1s and paired with a Pioneer SX-650 for our master bedroom and it sounds amazing considering their size. I don't believe you will regret it. Doing a quick search of Crite's website, I didn't see any upgrades for the KG 1 as I was wondering the same thing. They sound great to me just as they are though. Good luck!
  9. Wow! That is beautiful. I am running a SX-1050 right now with a set of Chorus IIs. Sounds incredible as well and volume past 4 will hurt you. Good luck to you!
  10. Recently purchased a set of Forte II Walnut Oiled mising the risers if anyone has a set of factory risers they are interested in selling.
