I paid $1800 for near mint one owner early 80s La Scalas in 2019 in California and I think that was a bit over priced at that time. So I would say around that price for these.

I have a pair La Salas and a pair of Khorns. I have an MC275 which I LOVE!! I’m definitely keeping it. I also have an MC 2205 which pales in comparison to the tube amp. I am selling the MC2205 The delima: I will have 2 sets of speakers and one amp. I would like to try something different. Let’s hear it guys! Mark Levinson? Bryston? etc.

ya we basically followed this but with different wood and different sizes. Then we put walnut veneer on and copper splines on the edges to match the klipsch badge. The dimensions are 40x42 3 inches thick.

Heres a pic from the "dj booth". Just making sure all formats sound good. The preamp is an Alpha Recording System 4 channel rotary mixer made in Japan. One of the best sounding dj mixers possibly ever made. Using Ortofon 2M red cartridges for now.

this room is about 1000 square feet and the ceiling is about 20 ft high.

The sound scale changes for sure from further away. The purpose of raising the tophats is to push the mids and highs over a crowded dance floor.

Surprisingly easy actually. 2 man job and once its all together you an grab the two front poles and shimmy the whole speaker into place.
